Former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg has filed to have his name on the Alabama ballot along with other Democratic presidential contenders in 2020.
Representatives for Bloomberg, 77, filed the paperwork with the Alabama Democratic Party in Montgomery on Friday, which could make Bloomberg an eligible primary candidate on March 3, Super Tuesday.
.... Despite filing for paperwork, a representative for Bloomberg said the New York billionaire has still not confirmed if he will join the race and that the Alabama filing was strictly for deadline purposes.

Yeah, I relocated here from Virginia, as well, and was born and raised in the Maryland mountains. I think (hope!) I’ll ultimately end up back in the mountains (probably WV) before they nail the lid on my box - I was never cut out to be a flatlander, especially at this latitude.

Hahaha
Bloomberg’s going nowhere fast. His late announcement shows him to be a whish-washy half-serious nitwit-which is what he is.
Also it just shows how deeply radicalized the D party has become. The only candidates they have are commie young people or really liberal old people.

The only thing about Bloomberg is that “Romney” Republicans will most likely vote for him. That’s what I don’t like.

Bottom line is that the Ghislane Maxwell connection is not really usable as a general election weapon, except perhaps by *some* of Bloomberg's primary opponents:

Having said that, I think Bloomberg’s biggest challenge will be winning the primary. In the general, he’ll get the Democratic vote and a substantial slice of the upmarket low tax, libertine GOP and independent vote. If the GOP “helps” Bloomberg’s (D) opponents to find material to knock him out of the Democratic primary, that wouldn’t be such a bad thing. I give Bloomberg good odds in the general, but low odds in the primary.

Donald Trump spoke with Bill Clinton weeks before kicking off presidential campaign: report
NEW YORK DAILY NEWS | Aug 06, 2015
Donald Trump (second from left) and former President Bill Clinton (right) shared a phone call weeks before Trump kicked off a presidential campaign, reports The Washington Post. Also pictured are former New York City Mayors Rudy Giuliani and little Michael Bloomberg while at Trump National Golf Club in 2008. (ROBERT SABO/NEW YORK DAILY NEWS)
Just before Donald Trump launched his bid for the Oval Office, he got on the phone with a man who knows plenty about the job former President Bill Clinton.
The Republican real estate mogul shared a private phone conversation with Clinton husband of the 2016 Democratic front-runner in late May, and went on to kick off his campaign in mid-June, The Washington Post reported Wednesday.
The report, citing four Trump allies and a Clinton associate, said the former President urged Trump to take on a larger role in the Republican Party and offered his views on politics.

The Bloomberg who changed opt-in to opt-out for medical students on whether they wanted abortion training.
Ha ha. More of them decided not to take the training than did before he changed it.

The Bloomberg who once threw a party celebrating the seven deadly sins. People had to come dressed as one of the sins.

This is going to hurt Democrats more than Republicans. An interesting Twitter conspiracy says that Bloomberg isn't running to win but to hobble Joe Biden, who Bloomberg feels is a disaster and needs to be replaced by a capable moderate.

Probably the reason he’s throwing his name into the hat.
Like many of the others. Thinking being a candidate will protect them.
