The myth of Joe Biden’s ascendancy has begun to unravel, especially in Iowa. For most of the year, the former VP has dominated in national and state polling for the Democratic presidential nomination, but his polling has sputtered recently. Today’s New York Times/Siena poll knocks Biden all the way down to the fourth position — behind the mayor from South Bend:

She's stale white bread, so it has to be a person of color. And it'll have to be a man. And it can't be Cory Booker, mainly because he's Cory Booker and he radiates douche chills.
They may have to go outside of politics. Seriously, for all their diversity, they have no big name, youngish, hetero black men that I can think of. Maybe they'll get Neil DeGrasse Tyson or Will Smith.
Biden's legacy will be that after serving in a corrupt administration he attempted to run for President a third time and was less popular that a gay mayor, gosh, it doesn't get any worse.
This is why the Democrats have to destroy Trump.

If Warren were to get the nomination, my guess is a "moderate" white male governor, maybe of a southern or Midwest state.

Fauxahontas Warren will get the democrat nomination, because nominating a crusty old liberal white woman worked out so well for them last time. Seriously though, there was never any chance that the democrats would nominate a white man this year, especially an old heterosexual white man.
The only reason that Buttigieg is running above 1% in the polls is because he is running as the homosexual candidate. Normally his poll numbers would put him at the front of the line to be Warren’s VP, but I think Warren knows he would only hurt her in the general election, so she is more likely to pick Bobo O’Rourke, even though he is polling under 1%.

Maybe they could find a Native America, just so they could, ya know, balance the ticket.
The unwritten story is that the Trump campaign is taking these contenders out one at a time. Brad Parscale keeps telling them what is happening and they just do not listen. They are left with a field in shambles and they do not want to admit what happened. Just like the 2016 campaign, he leaves a candidate struggling.
They look at Trump and loudly declare that “character does not matter” to the American voter. They look at the MSM and the DC culture and think that the path to success is an experientially constructed narrative (power of the victim). Unfortunately for them, a small truth destroys well-constructed narratives. The democrat party is staggering because they underestimated Trump and they are set up for an exceptionally tough ride when he is handed the same moral authority they seek to use against him. We live in historic days.

That’s a reasonable route, but they are desperate for high black turnout in key states, so an all-white ticket (even with 1/2048th Peruvian) will be really risky.
