Democratic presidential candidate Rep. Tulsi Gabbard announced on Friday that she will not seek re-election to Congress in 2020 so that she can focus on her bid for the White House.
“I will not be seeking re-election to Congress in 2020, and humbly ask you for your support for my candidacy for president of the United States,” Gabbard said in a video published early Friday morning.
The decision to not seek a fifth term representing Hawaii’s 2nd congressional district makes way for a competitive race for her seat, reported Hawaii News Now. The local outlet points out that Gabbard’s absence from Congress “likely has repercussions for other local races.”

She will NOT get the Dem Nomination. No way, no how. She is utterly, totally unacceptable to their base. They view her as virtually being a Republican. Plus she kneecapped a woman of color and Saint Hillary, which are strikes 2 and 3 against her. Probably getting out now because she realizes she is going to be primaried and booted out of the Dem Party soon.
If she continues in politics it will be as a RINO.

After a 3rd Party run for POTUS. Her fake cat fight with Hillary is just to create some daylight between her and the Democrat party to make an independent run plausible. Hillary is no doubt in on the confidence trick.
Trouble with constituents?
McCain knew that if the future looks bleak, hold on to what you got. Use it as a springboard (again) later.

That’s what they said about Trump? Where was he polling when he came down the escalator? There is over a year to go. Anything can happen.

I agree that Trump appeals to many Democrats; that’s how he won the electoral votes in Wisconsin, Michigan, and Ohio. But I don’t see Gabbard moving to the center. She is an ideologue; Clinton was an opportunist.
She believes Bernie will be the Democrat candidate. And she believes that by running as a 3rd party she can shear off votes from trump.
She is hoping for a position perhaps in a Bernie Sanders administration relative to the defense department.

But they are not centrist positions among general election voters. She would have no chance in the general election. Trump would lay out the tax hikes required to pay for her programs, and paint her as the radical leftist she really is.

I’d make a race for her “seat” too.
You need to read more FR comments. They may not be direct and open Never Trumpers but there are many—those hyping Lyn’ Ted, pimping Gabbard, etc.
Gab is also not a homosexualist. Her views on homosexuality prior to her run were considered unacceptable to her party, so she had to do an about turn. Which makes me wonder if she is a true socialist either.

I'm trying to imagine how dumb you'd have to be to believe this crap. This is right up there with blinking ads that disappear on the dark web, probably from the same source.
