The U.S. Supreme Court on Tuesday declined to take the case of a public school teacher who required her students to recite the Islamic "conversion prayer" or receive a failing grade.
The Thomas More Law Center is defending Caleigh Wood, a Christian student in 11th grade at La Plata High School in La Plata, Maryland.
Wood refused to deny her faith "by making a written profession of the Muslim conversion prayer known as the shahada – 'There is no god by allah and Muhammad is the messenger of allah,'" Thomas More said.
The 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled the teacher did not violate the Establishment Clause.
Wood also had been forced to view a series of Islam-promoting PowerPoint slides, including one casting aspersions on Christians that said, "Most Muslims' faith is stronger than the average Christian."

It is so sickening how lulled the general public has become when good has been replaced with evil in all facets of our society and especially in the field of education. If you happen to be a teacher in Illinois, you will be forced to teach the LGBTQ curriculum K-12 beginning July 2020. 8th Graders will not graduate to high school unless they pass a “test of understanding.” Living in the last days . . .just sayin’.

That this teacher is still employed, the school principle was not run out of town and the school board was not voted out speaks volumes as to where we will be in another few years.......

How many store managers do you suppose knew they were secretly spelling Christmas instead of just saving window space? What if some of them were devout Muslims? Maybe they only thought they were saving window space and it was a trick to force Muslims to write Christmas without knowing it? I look forward to the time they will shorten Ramadan to just "X" or some other made up character in order to save window space.

I am thinking that the child gets a AAA+ passing grade as she knew what the phrase meant and knew the implications of reciting it whether by mouth or by written word to her and her faith. As far as I am concerned that teacher violated that girl’s civil rights and should be jailed if not dismissed from her post.

Did they also teach the Christian Baptismal prayer? The conversion prayer recited by youngsters is preparation of mass conversion, so yeah the choice was obvious.

As far as Muslim faith is stronger than Christians, the Muslim martyrdom (mass killing) is an act of desperation of people with no personal future, where as many Christians are martyred when they refuse to convert they do not kill hundreds they only give up their lives for God.
