i can’t imagine why ... it does not stand up well with time ... marginal when it first came out and nearly unwatchable when i tried to watch it again a few months ago

THE DEATH OF STALIN is funny.
OFFICE SPACE was much funnier than the spinoff television series.
Many of the best comedies were made in the 1930s and 40s such as the work of W.C. Fields, The Marx Brothers, The Three Stooges, and even musical comedy greats like Fred Astaire, Gene Kelly, and Judy Garland.
It’s an R rated film that’s not for kids at all.
Would be an improvement over the current mouth.
Can’t imagine a list of great comedies without Peter Sellers on it... I nominate “Being There”.
Add Porky’s and Smokey and the Bandit to your list.
If you have to ask, then you are so free and happy that you miss the nuances of a guy basking in his own bucket of Sh*t and making himself happier than a pig is Sh*t!
It is a great movie and had it actually offended somebody or everybody in the audience it might have gotten more distribution. A movie about some guy who can the sunlight in the middle of storm at night is genius.
You need to drink a lot or smoke a lot to enjoy that movie.
