A Virginia police officer was suspended after allegedly turning over a suspected undocumented immigrant to federal authorities following a traffic accident last month.
The Fairfax County Police Department didn't identify the officer in a statement released Tuesday but said the incident occurred on Sept. 21 when an officer was dispatched to a car accident.
The officer discovered one of the drivers didn't have a Virginia driver's license and ran a check with the state Department of Motor Vehicles, police said. The check revealed the driver had a violation for failing to appear for a deportation hearing.
The officer verified the warrant and alerted officials with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE)...

I would like to see ICE offer him a job making more money that what he was getting from the state.
If immigration is enforced, and illegal aliens cannot vote or receive welfare benefits any more that will change.
Take note of those getting this officer fired and vote them out or prosecute them. Virginia must have a few good men.
Once a great state, Northern Virginia has now been trashed by liberals. It’s a shame. Somewhere in its past Fairfax County disenfranchised their sheriff who has been neutered into doing nothing more than a court bailiff and detention mgr. He has no law enforcement authority. The Police Chief is a political hack, appointed by liberal county commissioners and there you have it. This should be a warning to every sheriff in the country to never let such a thing happen to their office because liberals will promptly install tyranny into every highly populated area. There is an ICE federal program called 287(g) that has been in effect for well over a decade in many counties across America where the sheriff teams up with ICE to get illegal aliens off the street. Sadly libs want nothing to do with it. The dedicated Fairfax officer who is being brutalized by liberals needs to leave and go to work for a sheriff that honors his common sense dedication to duty.
Hire him in ICE. Maybe this is a resume enhancer.
