Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa), who oversaw Brett Kavanaugh's Supreme Court hearing, said on Monday that a former classmate accusing the justice of sexual misconduct didn't contact the Senate Judiciary Committee last year.
"That person, Mr. Stier, didn't reach out or provide information to the committee majority. ...My office never received anything from Mr. Stier or his unnamed friends," Grassley said during a Senate floor speech.
Grassley served as Judiciary Committee chairman during Kavanaugh's confirmation hearing before the panel last year. His staff also conducted its own investigations into allegations made against the then-Supreme Court nominee.
Grassley argued on Monday that if his staff had received an allegation like the one detailed by The New York Times over the weekend it would have been investigated.

Why did Grassley say he would have investigated this crap? Now, the Dems will demand that the Judiciary Committee do one now.
When the woman allegedly involved says she doesn’t remember the incident, there is nothing to investigate. There is nothing but the allegation by a Democrat operative and Clinton’s impeachment attorney, a bigtime Dem. donor.

They are doing all of this Kavanaugh stuff again because they all got away with it. Some people were referred to the DOJ for things they did—nothing happened. It’s all back because they can.
It’s happening toooo much....why isn’t anyone going after the people perpetrating this? It looks as if the President is always under fire. Doesn’t that actually make him look better? I.e...he can weather a bunch of stupid allegations, he doesn’t retaliate...makes him look good. BIGLY. I am semi-paranoid about media information, (and manipulation of the starving reporters looking for a scoop, and idiotic americans who don’t read or think)...so I am not sure if this is real......could all be made up to make Trump look better...(warning paranoid/conspiracy hypothetical assessment).

Exactly!! The son of one of my parents’ friends did the same thing to me (and several other girls in the neighborhood) on a couple of different occasions. Could I tell you the exact dates - no, because I was between 10-12 years old when it happened. But I told several people about it at the time (including my mom, who unfortunately didn’t believe me because he was “such a nice boy”) and I could give very specific details about what happened, where, and who else was present...and this was over 40 years ago!
I agree, actual unwanted sexual contacts remain in a woman’s memory, no need for “recovered memory theraopy!” If you don’t remember consciously, it didn’t happen, and if the “memory” is false that is “recovered” in therapy leaves you wondering if it is really true or not, IT IS NOT!!!!!!!

It gets the message across to any fair minded constitutional oriented judge, likely to be appointed by a conservative, that pursuing the nomination will result in you being torn up with accusations true or not.

In the overall scheme of things, a kid exposing himself is not a big deal.
Anyway, we’re talking about lying here, not forgetting things.
My mother didn’t believe I was an innocent victim. She said I had to have “invited it” somehow. I was ten! And it was summer, so I had just turned ten.

Two girls wrote a book and this was a PR stunt to create "buzz" about the book.
The NYT was happy to play along because it kept the 'Brett Kavanaugh is a sexual predictor' narrative alive for Democrats.
With all the debunking I wonder how the book is going to do.
I am so sorry - it is a horrible thing to not be believed when you are telling the truth, whether you were the one who was violated OR you are the one who is being falsely accused of something you did not do!!
The fact that anyone would play politics with a subject like this makes my absolutely furious!
