The New York Times suddenly made a major revision to a supposed bombshell piece late Sunday concerning a resurfaced allegation of sexual assault by Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh hours after virtually all 2020 Democratic presidential candidates had cited the original article as a reason to impeach Kavanaugh.
The update included the significant detail that several friends of the alleged victim said she did not recall the purported sexual assault in question at all. The Times also stated for the first time that the alleged victim refused to be interviewed, and has made no comment about the episode.

IF yes, then I'd sue the ever living tar out of them. Put them out of business for good.
Sue the pants off of this rag big time, mind you Old Media likely has the judges shopped and bought and paid for.
WOW! No evidence and the alleged assaultee has no recollection of the incident. Per nuzzlin’ joe, just another instance of truth being chosen over facts. Or lack of facts. It surely would be nice if a law suit could be brought against these POS urinalists.
Yep. SLANDER is a crime!! Come on Justice Kavanaugh, sue them to the hilt!
MSNBC is pumping it out as him being guilty right now.
The hate filled Left really needs to stop this libel.
This really should be Criminal and they should be Prosecuted for the False allegations. But they have demonstrated in Spades, that NO Female should ever be taken at face value when it comes to Sexual Assault, for it is most likely MADE UP!
Note tagline.
NYT new motto :
“Throw it against the wall & see if it sticks”
Remember when the main stream media was claiming the high ground over internet bloggers because they had editors and fact checkers?
Here we have a story that is 40 years old. A friend of someone recalls an event that happened at a party 40 years ago and the New York Times prints it as fact!
Within seconds the Democrats got on their trusty high horse and demand an impeachment of a justice based on ... well nothing more than an allegation that can neither be proved or disproved.
The New York Times should do some research on the old folk tale of THE BOY THAT CRIED WOLF.
With each of these types of stories their credibility inches lower. How low can it go, well how deep can they keep digging that hole they are in?
Losers like Gillibrand jumping on this lie should also be held accountable.
NYT knew all along the story was bogus. Probably already had today’s retraction planned. They just wanted to get the bogus story out for at least one day in order to sully Kavanaugh’s reputation further among the low information crowd. Most people who saw or heard about the story yesterday will not see or hear about the retraction today.
They should go after Julie Setnick first her story makes no sense if you can understand geography and technology.
1. How did she know about a party hosted by a school miles from her house or get there. No cell phones or internet or gps. All lies for free money.
Oh, Fox put this garbage out second story of headline news over the weekend.
What hateful people inhabit the Democrat states and institutions in our country!
Proverbs 6:16-19: “There are six things the Lord hates: yea, seven are an abomination to Him: a proud look, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that plans wicked imaginations, feet that run swiftly to mischief, a false witness who speaks lies, and those who promote discord among their brethren.”
There is a punishment for those who practice this life style.
Revelation 21:8:” But the fearful and unbelieving, the hateful, the murderers, whoremongers, idolaters and all liars shall have their place in the lake of fire and brimstone.”
Young people, I suppose, see this sort of "journalism" and think that it's normal. It's not.
For us older folks, it's hard to grasp the idea that baseless allegations from decades ago are now treated like automatic guilty verdicts in a court of law. Kavanaugh should be removed because somebody said so. That's "news" today. Amazing.
.... and here I thought the media couldn’t possibly beclown themselves any further.
Because GM workers are on strike this has faded fast. Will be gone by the time the Chicago teachers go on strike
The purported victim is not the accuser. The purported victim has let it be known she has no recollection of the alleged event. It was other people who claimed to have witnessed the event who are the source of the accusations.
