Full title: Trump jubilant in tweet blitz over NC victories, calls it ‘big night’ for Republicans
President Donald Trump launched a tweet blitz overnight Wednesday to celebrate party victories in two North Carolina races for U.S. Congress, calling it a “big night for the Republican party.”
Republican Dan Bishop won a tight District 9 race and Republican Greg Murphy was victorious by a wide margin in the state’s 3rd Congressional District, the Charlotte Observer reported Wednesday.
Trump visited North Carolina this week to stump for Bishop, and seemed to take particular pride in defeating Democrat Dan McCready.
“Dan Bishop was down 17 points 3 weeks ago. He then asked me for help, we changed his strategy together, and he ran a great race,” Trump tweeted.

they are trying to make lemonade out of lemons saying the candidate was weak in the suburbs, not mentioning of course that he got 30%+ of the Black vote.

Excuse me, President Trump knows more about polling and fake polls than you’ll ever know about anything. He wouldn’t push, or publicize a fake poll in a tweet, and how dare you accuse him of doing so. Thanks to the Lord and our President, he turned a certain loss of more than 17% into a crucial victory. God Bless Him!
I’ll never understand this. If you support OUR President, you should be telling everyone. A higher approval rating helps him, encourages him, and tells the Country exactly why he is the greatest President we’ve ever had. Sure, Pollsters may (will!) lie, but if all of us supporters told the truth to legitimate pollsters he’d see the well-deserved highest numbers ever.
Good luck in the 2020 general, dems.........the Trump effect is unstoppable. If he helps campaign down ticket, all your other candidates are toast too.

Because governors don’t appoint House members. House seats are vacant until special elections are held.
ABC’s World News Tonight with David Muir and CBS Evening News with Norah O’Donnell spent about 1 minute 40 seconds and 2 minutes respectively on the Antonio Brown civil lawsuit on the 9/11/19 telecast. Both programs spent 0 seconds on the North Carolina special election results. ABC and CBS doesn’t count republicans winning special elections as news.
compare to Obama..1 year in, he goes to Massachusetts, and promptly loses Ted Kennedy’s seat..heh...

Everybody knows that. But it did come across as “bigly”, and was funny. (Lighten up already.) And “bigly” is an actual word, perfectly fitting what he was saying.
I don’t know the details but only know that it happened.
I chalked it up to our liberal Dem Governor but it may have been done by the courts.
Wish I knew more.
Just know it is just another outrage.
