A California state appeals court Friday overturned the lone conviction against an undocumented immigrant who shot and killed Kate Steinle on the San Francisco waterfront in 2015, a case which drew national attention and became a flashpoint in the debate over illegal immigration.
Jose Inez Garcia-Zarate, who was in the U.S. illegally had been deported to his native Mexico five times, was acquitted in November 2017 of first and second-degree murder, involuntary manslaughter, and assault with a semi-automatic weapon. He was convicted of one count of being a felon in possession of a firearm.
On Friday, the 1st District Court of Appeal in San Francisco overturned that conviction because the judge failed to instruct the jury on one of Garcia-Zarate's defenses. Garcia-Zarate remains in custody and is facing federal gun charges.

Pretty sure it’s the Judges fault, not God. Kinda figure this is the Judge putting the nails in his own coffin before God, insuring his cup of Gods wrath is filled to the brim.

IOW, all the judges at each level are unfit for the bench, should be removed, and should then be tried and convicted for obstruction of justice and violation of the RICO Act.
I won’t take the oath. The last time I had jury duty the judge asked if I would follow his instructions, I said it depended on what the instructions were. I couldn’t promise anything. He excused me from the panel.
Right now the whole justice system is a joke. If you have money or power, you are going to get off. This illegal alien didn’t have money, but he had the power of publicity and thousand dollar per hour attorneys paid for by powerful interests.
If he had been a white American citizen he’d be sitting on death row.

There would be work arounds I am sure. But how were they going to even implement it? Be a third party regulator in every sale and escrow? They are absolutely insane.

Each is a FEDERAL felony, prosecute and incarcerate for those.
Then start doing the same for every other invader who re-enters after deportation.
Yes it will be expensive initially, but will save a LOT in the longer run when word gets around and the number of invaders re-entering slows down.

I know of two families who moved here to NE FL, and they have both said they left CA because their state was not what it was when they grew up. Here is the sad part. These idiots still vote Democrat party, and when I asked them why they moved here to a more conservative state and a conservative area they both replied they are not interested in politics.
When it was pointed out that it was their votes which helped to ruin their state they just ignore the fact.
