Always worth remembering - the British Empire (or what’s left of it) does not belong to Parliament. It’s the Queen’s *personal* empire and Parliament runs it at her sufferance.

right before this most recent news item. Wishful thinking on someone’s part? Hoping that Brexit would be stalled by the monarch’s death?
It could be we are seeing a result of Steve Bannon's tactics.
Perhaps this was one of the issues Trump and the Queen discussed, and a reason they seemed to get along so well!
