The Canadian Office of Ethics completed their investigation of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and whether he inappropriately used his office to influence and pressure the Canadian Attorney General to drop criminal charges against a political ally and donor, SNC-Lavalin. [Backstory Here]
Section 9 of the Canadian Ethics Act prohibits public office holders from using their position to seek to influence a decision of another person so as to further their own private interests or those of their relatives or friends, or to improperly further another persons private interests.
The investigation found:
Prime Minister Trudeau used his position of authority over Ms. Wilson‑Raybould [AG] to seek to influence, both directly and indirectly, her decision on whether she should overrule the Director of Public Prosecutions decision not to invite SNC-Lavalin to enter into negotiations towards a remediation agreement.
Therefore, I find that Mr. Trudeau contravened section 9 of the Act. In response to the official finding of the Canadian Ethics Office, Justin Trudeau said he accepted the findings, but disagreed with the decision.

It will be ignored................
He’s a socialist liberal. It’s just a resume builder.
He’ll apologize in tears on TV and it will be over............
he should serve the time the other guy would have served.
Sad to say, but if the latest polls are to believed, it appears you’re right. Turd-Owe Jr. looks to be headed for his second coronation.
The largest and most statistically-significant voting blocs in Canada: Namely Millennials, and Baby Boomer women, love him to little-bitty pieces, cause he’s “sooooooo dreamy!”
(and he makes them all soft and creamy).
Cool, are they going to kick that commie faggot out?
Nothing’s decided yet, there’s still 2 months to go until the election.
True-dope and his Lieberals will respond like a certain Somalian with, “...some people did something...”
A pox on your house, Justine True-dope!
He’s Canada’s Bill Clinton.............
Is Canadia really going to reelect this soy boy? I know moronials are hopeless, but do women really now find soy boys desirable?
With Baby Boomer women, it’s the sheer magic of the name “Trudeau”, because that entire generation of women quite literally swooned over Pierre. (and they lost their collective minds when he *DARED* to get married). My mother and all her female friends would spend hours gushing about how “dreamy” Pierre was, and I’d have to endure cheek-pinches about the fact that I was born on New Years Eve, whilst “Little Justin” was born on Christmas Eve, and “Isn’t that just so WONDERFUL?!?”
Unless Scheer can make some serious inroads amongst Baby Boomer women, and Millennials, he, quite frankly, doesn’t have a hope in Hell. The Gen-X vote is statistically irrelevant, and the white male vote (outside of the Millennial cohort) very nearly so.
If it were the Conservative leader, he would have reigned already. But since it’s uber-liberal Justin McDreamy, nothing will happen.
I am kind of hoping he wins. There’s already much talk about western separation, and it would be a reality if he wins again. We all know we won’t survive another term of that commie.
The reality is the west needs to go regardless of who wins. Trudeau winning would speed it up. The east has been a parasite for too long, and they leech our money while hindering and blocking our resource development and economic growth. It’s past time to go. Canada was setup as an empire to serve the east since 1867.
West needs to go, that needs to be decided real soon.
Nothing is going to happen.
Problem is there is not much conservative leadership in Canada, there is not much history of liberty, and almost 2/3 of the voting population votes left of center these days. Once again, Christian friends who are Canadian choose to send their children to government schools, just as Christians here do. Foolish and ignorant, sorry to say.
That is a lie. If he accepted the findings he would be charged by the RCMP since the report also said his office obstructed with the investigation.
