The two guards who were in the jail unit where Jeffrey Epstein apparently killed himself fell asleep and failed to check on him for about three hours, then falsified records to cover up their mistake, a law enforcement official and a prison official said on Tuesday.

So the one guard had work 80 hours and I could understand him getting sleepy. But what about the correction guard that wasn’t a corrections guard. Why was he sleepy?

Or maybe,Epstein suffocated himself with a pillow, like conservative supreme Court justices do on occasion. If it was the pillow suicide treatment hopefully it was at least washed after the last guy... I mean hey, Gotta get something for all our tax dollars...

We’re like three business days in, and the coincidences are piling up ridiculously.
Suicide Prevention Officer signature/ approval is required to take an inmate off Suicide watch. Did this occur? Unknown, but unlikely.
The Warden’s signature/ approval is needed to remove an inmate from Suicide Watch. It is believed, from conversations recounted, that this did not happen.
The status the Facility says Epstein was in (incorrectly) is called “Special Observation Status.” This status requires that Epstein have a Cell Mate. None of the protocols for the lower and questionable Special Observation Status were followed.
Unbelievably, he was put in with a Bunk bed without a cellmate, and instead of the prescribed Paper sheets, he was given cloth sheets.
The Video system was not working and procedures weren’t followed to report it.
EACH guard is required to make separate checks on inmates with this designation every 30 mins as a Fail-safe.
Some speculation that he died closer to midnight.

The same government which takes hundreds of billions of dollars from its citizens each year can’t be trusted to protect one man out 300 million Americans? Why on earth would we trust it to do anything right? The US government, the biggest waste of wealth on the planet.
I heard they shut off the cameras. Gee that’s not suspicious! Plus the coroners office still hasn’t released the autopsy report. What’s taking so long? I guess they’re waiting for Hillarys check to clear
Due to a small screw up at the prison, instead of providing Epstein paper blankets, they provided him heavy rope, sleeping pills, lamp cord, rat poison, and an assortment of kitchen knives.
That’s not how it’s done. You take them to a fancy restaurant, tell them what you want when there’s no one in earshot, and then leave early after putting a thousand or whatever in cash on the table and saying, “that’s to pay the tab.” This from the fellow who used to manage my deli counter re how to pay off a health inspector. Guards is probably the same thing.
