President Trump mocked CNNs Chris Cuomo on Tuesday in response to a viral video in which the Cuomo Prime Time host threatened a man who apparently had called him "Fredo."
A video of the confrontation, which originally surfaced on the YouTube channel "That's The Point with Brandon and was circulated by Daily Wire reporter Ryan Saavedra, begins with the man telling Cuomo, "I thought that was who you were." The CNN host clearly didnt appreciate the comment and the clip quickly became a trending topic on social media.
Fredo is a reference to Fredo Corleone, the weak and facile brother in the movie The Godfather. The CNN host is the younger brother of Andrew Cuomo, the Democratic governor of New York. The confrontation took place Sunday at a bar on New York's Shelter Island.

These people are so dumb.
I knew it was you all along, Fredo. You broke my heart. You broke my heart.
Tucker Carlson has been ridiculing Fredo for some time now.
Too bad he is on Vacation this week.
I live on Italian, er, Staten Island.
I speak Italian, though throw a Sicilian from some regions at me and I won’t understand a word.
My pop was from Italy. Came over as a kid.
I have NEVER, not ONCE, heard “Fredo” used as an Italian slur.
Not ever.
I’ve heard people called “fredo” as a joke about their intellect.
But NEVER as an Italian slur.
Too stupid to comment on this again so that will be my last time
Time to take Fredo Fishing on Lake Tahoe.
If Cuomo was smart he simply would have said, “My name is Chris, what can I do for you”, instead of turning this into a major confrontation. Now Rush, and others, will be talking about it for at least the rest of the day.
ha!
But yet, you’d think Chris Cuomo would have just ignored that heckler. But by confronting that heckler in such a profane tone, he lived down to the name of two famous pejoratives of Italian-Americans, both of which I will not say here on FR!
Hey Chris (Fredo), if the shoe fits...
I’ve watched Fredo on youtube from time to time. I find it very entertaining and love to comment on his videos. especially the “official” CNN ones.
With every utterance from his mouth, he just made it more plain why he’s called ‘Fredo’.................
I was thinking the same thing.
I can hear it now.
“look, he showed himself to be the bad tempered, low class WOP dago that he is!”
The Cuomos have given us a bad name since their pop was governor.
Please everyone look to Scalia and alito for much better examples of Americans of Italian descent.
I would mention Rudy but he might just be loved by us so I didn’t :)
Exactly, now everyone will know why he is touchy about the term. Ive never heard it used as a slur but an insult yes.
Funny, I thought Fredo was his real name, at least it fits him.
Just Curious,, Isn’t this the type of Violent Outburts and Behavior RED FLAG LAWS are supposed to be used for, to protect the innocent from the deranged?? Where are the NYPD? Has anyone filed a formal Red Flag Complaint against Fredo?? WHY NOT??
Fredo...Stay off the little Row Boat!
You know....most of us who weren't part of the popular crowd in HS, learned the hard way that the BEST way to guarantee that everyone will start calling you (fill in the blank), was to tell everyone you HATED being called (fill in the blank).
Now either Fredo is as dumb as a box of rocks, was one of the popular kids, or both...
...or he never saw "Stripes"
