CNN’s Chris Cuomo erupted at a man who apparently called him “Fredo,” in a video that went viral Monday night.
The encounter between Cuomo and the man happened at a Shelter Island bar on Sunday.
“Punk-ass bitches from the right call me Fredo,” Cuomo told the man. “My name is Chris Cuomo. I’m an anchor on CNN. Fredo is from The Godfather.”
“They use it as an Italian aspersion. Any of you Italian?” he continued. “It’s an insult to your f****** people. It’s like the N-word for us.”
They went back and forth, and at one point Cuomo said, “I’ll f****** ruin your shit. I’ll f****** throw you down these stairs like a f******* punk.”
A CNN spokesperson told Mediaite in a statement, “Chris Cuomo defended himself when he was verbally attacked with the use of an ethnic slur in an orchestrated setup. We completely support him.”

Anyone but a liberal and you’d be hearing the “They need to be red flagged” argument.
Sadly, I know a number of Italians that act the very same way. Big mouths who scream and yell and swear to intimidate and bully anyone who says anything they don’t like. However, I also know some very nice ones who don’t fit this stereotype.....but not as many as the bad ones.

The fact that a listener picked it up and called Fredo out is delicious. His reaction will be his destruction as he is subject to the Fredo ridicule where ever he goes

After watching video, got to say Hanity got it completly wrong. Cuomo was aggressive and beligerent and would not accept the possibilty the guy did not mean to insult him.
We’re German and we use the term all the time.
