When Beto ORourke proclaimed, during the second round of Democratic presidential debates, that theres a new battleground state, Texas, and it has 38 Electoral College votes, eyes rolled in unison across America. Weve all heard that nonsense before! Pundits and progressives have been predicting that minority-white Texas would go blue for so long, its practically become a running joke. And while ORourke came tantalizingly close to knocking off Ted Cruz last fall, that race seemed to have all the hallmarks of a flukea Republican senator who even Republicans cant stomach, running in a strong Democratic midterm cycle against a fresh-faced liberal who eschewed all forms of conventional political wisdom and ran a campaign so novel, so tireless, and so perfectly made for social media that it became a viral sensation. Post-Betomania, most people assumed that Texas Democrats would resume their role as American politics saddest underachievers, while Texas Republicans extended their quarter-century run of dominance as their national partys ideological, financial, and electoral-vote stronghold.

They’re doing a last-ditch effort to throw the election to thwart Trump and keep the Epstain/Cabal revelations from coming out.
They won’t get close to getting there.
Keep cheering all that 3rd World immigration, Republicans. Because it eliminated you in California. And now Texas is next.
The Democrats knew what they were doing, replacing American natives with immigrants who vote left. The GOP Establishment, as usual, betrayed their base.
With fake, phony fraud "conservatives" like freshman Texas Rep. Dan Crenshaw, -- who voted for two Pelosi amnesty bills, and another jacking up H1-B visas for Indian tech workers -- who needs Democrats?
Beto didn’t win... Enough said?
They say this because the votes between Beto and Cruz were close. But look at the same vote totals for Governor. Abbot crushed them.
Cruz hurt himself badly with that stunt at the convention. He’s not very likable anyway.
Beto only got close because Cruz made an ass of himself. Beto will learn that the hard way when he decides to run against Cornyn.
Beto is also going to learn, the hard way, that 40% of real Hispanics in Texas vote Republican (except when that Republican makes an ass of himself).
Texas will flip. No way now to stop it. Probably not in 2020, but not long after that. The socialism-loving Hispanic voting majority that is going to flip it has been in place for years. They just haven’t been old enough to vote. But now the time is nearing when they politically destroy, permanently, yet another once great state, and likely along with it, the Electoral College and our homeland. Forever.
Keep it up. Take all the wind out of the Republican sails. By the time the election gets here Republican voters will be so deflated and distressed they’ll just stay home and not vote. Or so goes the plan. President Hillary will agree I’m sure.
DJT won TX by 9pts in 2016.
All of the South will fall in time. War is demographics sped up. Simply cheaper to live down here. Refugees from other states flee to texas and florida all of the time. Mexico lost Texas via migration; they will win it back via migration.
“DJT won TX by 9pts in 2016.”
I knew some conservatives who didn’t trust Trump here enough to vote for him, particularly after the Cruz crap.
Yeah it was NYers. Smh
Take ownership of your POS state
Be a man and not a bitch, looking for someone to point your fingers at out there besides yourselves.
Oh look - a New York moron showing us how the West was ruined. Northeastern liberals have swarmed California like rats. From the idiocy of your post, there’s plenty more where that come from, too.
One hopes the Texans have strong monitoring to prevent voter fraud and I would suggest they purge their voting roles NOW to try to head off the leftists ‘helping their swindle along’.
We heard that in 2016! This will be a another year Texas stays deep Red.
Thanks for predicting the future for us. Did you predict the Rust Belt flipping Red as well last election?
