This may be late.
Epstein’s dead. He’s been talking to his lawyers a lot (I read 12 hours a day). He may have left cleanup instructions, in an attempt to stay alive.
I wonder if anyone is still working there (since Epstein’s arrest was rather sudden), and who was in charge of paying the staff. Has the place been abandoned and gone to seed?
