A former friend of the gunman who slaughtered nine people outside of a Dayton, Ohio, bar said he cut off their friendship when the mass shooter held a gun to his head about five months ago, a report said Monday.
Will El-Fakir, who went to the same high school as gunman Connor Betts, told the Dayton Daily News that Betts had been getting a little violent with friends and began to bring guns around them in recent months.
Betts then held a gun to El-Fakirs head about five months ago for no reason, he told the newspaper. El-Fakir said he cut ties with Betts after the incident.
El-Fakir told the newspaper he recounted the incident to Dayton police officials Sunday afternoon.
==================================================================================================================
El-Fakir added that hed witnessed strange behavior from Betts before the gun incident.
There were times when he went to bars and just scoped the place out, El-Fakir said.
Hed say, If I brought this-or-that through here, it would have done some damage.

Call it what you want. About 1.1% of the US population is a member of the Islamic cult. Noting that small number of people show up in circle of terrorists is noteworthy just as others note that majority of mass murders are non-white, most murders are male, etc. Read more into it if you want, but bigotry and bias are wrong. If you point out a killer is person of color, shall we presume you are racist because you noted it?

The question the MSM wont touch with a 10 foot pole as their major advertisers are pharmaceutical companies.

He knew his friend was increasingly violent, even pointed a gun at him and he did nothing. Is there more to this story? Likely. Did he encourage any of this violence? Did he encourage any hate? Never know where these questions might lead. Asking them is not sign of bias and bigotry.
By the way, you still did not answer my question: If you point out a killer is person of color, shall we presume you are racist because you noted it?

And no report at the time? Increasingly violent friend that no one reported? That's the ticket. Go report it. And you expect the government to come swooping down to take the one with the dark personality away and save humanity. While most people realize officials don't care, lawyers are there to advocate for the loon, and the snitch now has to constantly look over their shoulder as the loon stalks you.

Yes, that is a problem, or several. Just troubling to repeatedly see people come out publicly afterword with un-acted upon observations that might have saved lives if they had spoken up.

"Please lets discuss nationally some way to put away people - in hopes of rehab and release - who show EVERY SIGN of becoming a mass shooter. Freedom is not freedom for people who cant handle it."
Alright, let's discuss red flag laws. Here's an example--a scenario that is only fictitious for now.
It would work much like a restraining order. A member of a local circle of drug dealers and rapists would call to accuse a straight neighbor of exhibiting violent, insane behavior.
A form would be filled out. A judge would order an evaluation and that all weapons and ammunition be taken from the accused for the duration of an extended and complicated evaluation. That is, if the accused woman isn't committed for the duration of the evaluation. A SWAT team raid on the accused would follow. The accused would be disarmed in front of her neighbors.
The thugs would then invade her home or catch her walking between her car and her house. They would hold her hostage at gunpoint for a while, beating and raping her repeatedly. Then they might simply cut her throat or bludgeon her to death, if they're not feeling routinely sadistic. And if she has children,...
What do you think? Would red flag laws help? Do criminals follow gun control laws, or do they buy stolen weapons or otherwise illegal weapons or trade drugs for them? Would it not happen to women. Bear the enormous numbers of publicized cases of child molesting (especially teachers) and domestic violence committed by women (and restraining orders against women) in mind.

A much intensified drug arrest and conviction campaign might yield some safety from mass murders, though. Bust the addicts enough times, and they might stay locked up for a while.

By the way, Betts praised amphetamines in one of his posts. It’s likely that he was exposed to MDMA, a benzo or something similarly effective for control. My guess is something more like ecstasy (often MDMA or MDA with meth, PCP, ketamine and/or other adjuncts). Crooks turn women who are previously nice into wh***s by lacing drinks, and sometimes, timed just right after getting them a little hooked, even get them to pull off convenience store robberies or attacks against enemies. Some contemporary batches are getting more powerful than before and aren’t the club drugs of the past. Sometimes, the effects are more like bath salts during part of the high.

I agree with that sentence. Anyone shooting mass numbers of innocent people *and* one of the other two behaviors should be evaluated, just as you said.
But if you intended to refer to those who only have violent ideas or post violent manifestos, then anyone writing something like "A Modest Proposal" (Jonathan Swift) would be disarmed and whisked to the booby hatch lockup. I guess it would bring the consolation of removing some artsy-fartsy, dramatic folks from our midst, though.

Sorry, I don't have the Twitter link, just the link to the Reddit photo.
These Twitter pics and people are getting deleted by Twitter continuously. That is why people are saving offline.
Thousands of conservative Twitter accounts were deleted by Twitter just before the weekend.
