Mueller’s Pre-Structured and Organized Senility in order to dodge questions and possible ‘defense’ at a later date is not a stretch for what we’re seeing in this hearing.

My take is different. Didn’t see Buck, but Lesko kept hammering him with questions which I think were asked to get information out to people who haven’t heard any of the truth before. I think she did well.
= = =

Yeah, Score one for the Blondes.

And by that, I mean she was not the polished old white guy. She was just a ‘normal’ person, maybe even one who uses social media.

No, I don’t think the clock stops while he answers, that’s why most republicans are trying to hurry him along because of their limited time. And why he turns into a doddering old fart who can’t remember a thing when republicans are asking the questions but for the most part, seems lucid when it’s democrats, and doesn’t try to run the clock out on them.

I don’t think the point was that Fox News was mentioned far fewer times - rather that Mueller was compiling his evidence by referencing news stories.

her questioning will sound fine, but it seemed a bit halting and pendantic so that it took away the net effect.

I don't think she expected him to contradict his public statement put out with the DOJ

Buck has given the Libs the exact soundbite they wanted today, getting Mueller to answer “Yes” when asked by Buck if he could indict Pres. Trump for obstruction after he leaves office. On Twitter, the liberals are using these 30 seconds as a salve for this 2-hour burn they are otherwise suffering.

At that moment, I knew that would be the take-away moment for the left. Buck was trying to refer to the actual available evidence for a specific crime, but Mueller used the moment to respond in a general theoretical sense that a president could be charged after office. Buck blew it.

It really doesn't matter, because the concept of indicting Trump after office is likely 5.5 years away, and his world-class lawyers would get any such attempt kicked out of court in a week.

The entire concept is a concession on impeachment.

Who goes to testify before a congressional committee without their reading glasses?

I’m telling ya, the MSM’s narrative will be how the mean young white Republican men picked on a frail old man.

...who served in Vietnam! Abuse of a patriotic veteran.

Not watching but just reading the comments here.

“Organized senility”

Yup, that’s the impression I’m getting.

The local dog catcher has as much power as Mueller in indicting POTUS. Zip, zero, none.

Axelrod tweet: “This is delicate to say, but Mueller, whom I deeply respect, has not publicly testified before Congress in at least six years. And he does not appear as sharp as he was then.”

She did OK. His answer that she “left out one letter” in her list of documents threw her off what was an otherwise solid line of questioning. She should have just hit him back straight on “Did Barr misrepresent your report in his summary yes or no”.

It was a joint statement, he would have had to sign off, now he is saying he didn't sign off, that's big news....or he's lying and will have to correct the record.
