The racist cliche worked so well last time.
Yep.
“God doesn’t choose a perfect man, He chooses a man perfect for the job.”
AMEN!!
I know a Christian man who still swears......when anyone has an issue about it he tells them you should have seen me before God found me and changed my heart.
That’s it!
God always chooses the last one man would choose to do his work. Trump fits that perfectly.
>>God doesnt appoint perfect men....he appoints men who will get the job done.

Very true.
I cringed when he took the name of the Lord in vain, twice.
Then I remembered exactly what you said in your post.
(Still, I hope someone close to him suggests that he not do it.)
Swearing is crude. But whether Patton or Teddy Roosevelt, they would let one fly under certain circumstances. Besides, I don’t really thing swearing is in one of the 10 Commandments. Not to take the Lord’s name in vain I believe actually refers to not doing evil in the name of the Lord. As in “Unless the Lord builds the house, the workers labor in vain.”
Tonight during his rally, President Trump REPEATEDLY took the name of the lord in VAIN...!!!
Do you take your mothers name in vain Mr. President??? I tell you YOU DO NOT!!!! But tonight you DARE to take the Lord Gods name in vain!!! Do not be deceived....GOD is NOT mocked!!! Please, STOP it !
Deuteronomy 5:10-11 But I lavish unfailing love for a thousand generations on those who love me and obey my commands. You must not misuse the name of the LORD your God. The LORD will not let you go unpunished if you misuse his name.
Exodus 20:7 You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain, for the LORD will not hold guiltless anyone who takes his name in vain.
Matthew 6:9 Pray then like this: Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name.
This is a warning to all who think God will ‘overlook’ the act of blaspheming His name. HE WILL NOT. I will not matter if you are a street sweeper or the leader of the greatest Republic on earth......GOD will drop you like a stone.
Do not be deceived....GOD is NOT mocked!!! Please President Trump, I beg you....STOP it !
I believe the Israelis were chosen as God’s people not because they were the best but because they were the worst. God works miracles through the rough and the unlikely in order to show that it was his work and not the work of man.
I don’t think he took the Lords name in vain. .....many people use that phrase to emphasize a strong point without even thinking they’ve put God into the equation...... People at work, school, and even our friends and family sometimes routinely use God’s name and title in exclamations of amazement, ridicule, and other emotional situations.
God understands the difference.

Yep, I’ll bet she’s gonna go get herself a beer.
The word vain is the Hebrew word shav. It has a variety of translations including emptiness, vanity, falsehood, nothingness, emptiness of speech, lying, and worthlessness.
.....”I cringed when he took the name of the Lord in vain, twice”......
Not unusual Christians are sensitive to Gods name in any situation.....and Not to forget that God hears it 24/7 and even before it’s spoken in all situations..... good that He sees ‘the motive of the heart’ when it’s spoken.
Glad to hear it!
I like Lara the best of all the, ‘married into the family’ kids. :)
Lara is a priceless jewel!
