NEW ZEALAND: Muslim outraged at seeing burger chain frying bacon on the same grill as its alleged halal-certified beef patties

A Muslim burger lover has lashed out at the popular Better Burger fast food chain after discovering one of its stores cooked bacon on the same grill as its halal-certified meat. When he confronted the chef about the matter, he was informed one of the grills wasn’t working.
Daily Mail (h/t Sara S) ‘I took it on face value, so we decided to go to another Better Burger because surely all of the stores wouldn’t have the same issue at the same time, and then at the other store they just turned around and said; “No, that’s just their process and what they do.”
He said it was difficult to find a fast food store that served halal meat and over time had come to trust the Better Burger brand. Though after he witnessed the cross contamination of the meats, an outraged Muslim said he would never eat at the store again.
He pointed out cooking bacon on the same grill defeated the purpose of serving halal meat. ‘There will be lots of other Muslims that are going there thinking they are eating halal food which is not really,’ he said.
The Restaurant chain fired back:
While a number of online food directories list Better Burgers as halal-friendly, operations manager Josh Harre said the burger chain didn’t advertise it. ‘In the very first store, six years ago it may have been [advertised] as halal, the store that was in the Britomart Country Club but it is now closed,’ he said.
Should a “Halal” food section be identified in your (or any other) grocery store, find a pork-based product (bacon, pork rinds, etc.) and simply place it/them there along with the other items. Muslims will bitch, moan, complain, and possibly be forced to behead someone. The “contaminated” food will be unsellable. Stores will condemn, of course, and try to control the situation by “prohibiting” this kind of activity. We must in any and every way we can make it unprofitable for American businesses to submit to Islam.

I relly feel for this poor man. He should move to a country where he won’t have this problem.
A friend of mine was a waiter during college and served a house salad topped with bacon. She was upset when she found out she had been eating bacon. He laughed about the lady being so upset. I thought it was funny how little he cared.

I simply do not see the problem. The Almighty invented bacon specifically to go on burgers.
The ‘sad’ part is that prior hiring these people you CAN’T ask if this ‘offends’ them.
Or you can’t NOT HIRE them if you think their ‘religion’ will interfere with their duties. (At least that can’t be the ‘official’ reason for not hiring).
You hire them and once hired they show up dressed in a fart sack, unwashed hands or hair, they start refusing to handle (thanks) certain products, raw or packaged and there really isn’t anything the ‘owner’ can do about it.
They are so ‘dumb’ that they are smart enough to know if you fire them later for another infraction that they will claim the firing was in retaliation.
Call it “Left Hand Burgers”.
Why did the chain advertise Halal food? Not defending muzzys. But food places need to give your what they advertise.
I had the same problem with places that swear they don’t use MSG and I was put under for 3 days after eating in one. (I rarely eat out BTW I was never bothered by MSG for decades until I was. Bodies can change)
