TEL AVIV – In a rare interview with a Hebrew-language newspaper, a senior Saudi diplomat said it was time the Arab world realized that the “age of war with Israel” is over.
The diplomat, who declined to be named, slammed the Palestinian leadership for “irresponsibly” panning the Trump administration’s long-anticipated peace deal without even seeing it.
“The bloody conflict has dragged on for too long. For us the Saudis, as well as for all the Gulf states, Egypt and Jordan, it is clear that the age of war with Israel has ended and that normalizing relations will only benefit us,” he said in interview published in Globes. “The entire Arab world can benefit from this, not only the Palestinians, and of course also [Israel].”
“History and Allah have brought a real opportunity to realize this,” he added.
He praised Israel’s technological prowess, saying that even those in the Arab world that “hate” Israel look to the Jewish state with “admiration over its success in [technology] and hopes to copy it.”
He emphasized Saudi Arabia’s deep commitment to the Palestinians but criticized them for hanging onto a victimhood identity.
“Maybe it is hard for them to separate themselves from the portrayal of the eternal victim and they don’t believe they can survive without it,” he said.
President Donald Trump’s so-called deal of the century would bring the Palestinians $50 billion, “sums they never dreamed of,” he said.

Israel was hated on principle. But was no threat.

I always wondered when the Iranian’s say they want to wipe Israel off the face of the earth, why do the Palestinians not complain about it? They would be wiped out also.
Maybe the Iranians have a secret bomb that only kills Jews.
President Carter does deserve plenty of respect for brokering the Israel-Egypt peace plan too. But this is even bigger if it fully gets implemented. The only true impediment right now is Iran to a real Palestinian-Israeli peace. The Arab World used the Palestinians as their bastard stepchildren and as cannon fodder and it’s only the Mullahs now willing to continue the tradition.
Yes that is true. Even with Tribulation like that, many will physically survive it. Can you imagine the PTSD from that horrible experience?

The Saudis aren’t lying-Ezekiel 38:13. That’s the great thing about Bible prophecy. I’ve been teaching for 30 years that one day Saudi Arabia would become allies to Israel. Here we are. Now the rest of the Muslim nations? Well, they’re gonna be part of the invasion.

i don’t think we’re quite there yet- but the world is certainly working up towards such a prophecy fulfillment-
Trump has taught these people at least to give lip service to the benefits of peace. Peace does not mean agreement about everything; it means a negotiated settlement of conflicting values—how to get along with respect when you don’t agree.
Just the judgements issued by the Two Witnesses will be mind-blowing.
That’s why the secular world celebrates their deaths.

Indeed, in Ezekiel 38, where Iran and her allies attempt to invade Israel (among them, specifically named, Turkey, (House of Togarmah) and Libya (Put or Phut) plus Gog of Magog (a few of us believe this to be Russia) there is protest, perhaps only vocal protest from Sheba and Dedan (Saudi Arabia).
Cush (Ethiopia? Sudan?) attempts to invade as well. Israel bombed weapons being transported in/through Sudan years back.
This was written (roughly) 2,600 years ago by a God Who knows the future (through one of His prophets). He Has a Son (see my FR homepage for more info).

Well, SA better let its ME allies in on that.
I believe that war is also described at the end of the millennial reign in Revelation so it’s highly likely these prophesies are being misunderstood as to when they’ll occur.
