In a piece for the Daily Mail on Thursday, British journalist Piers Morgan explained, quite thoroughly, why he thinks Trump is going to win the 2020 election. And not just win it, but win it easily. When Trump launched his 2020 campaign on Tuesday night in Orlando, Florida, I didn't sense I was watching a guy who's going to lose. In fact, I got the complete opposite feeling, Morgan wrote. Trump exuded the confident all-conquering swagger of someone who defied all polls and logic last time, and fully intends to do so again.
He's spent two-and-a-half years bombarding Americans with relentless self-aggrandizing tweets, speeches, rallies and media interviews all designed to keep his base pot boiling.
And his strategy has clearly worked.
Everyone seems to forget that Trump won with just 46.1% of the national vote in 2016. His current approval rating is around 45%.
And as the New Yorker reminds us today, the day before the 2016 election, just 37.5% of American voters according to Real Clear Politics poll average - had a 'favorable' opinion of Trump.
So, either the polls were wrong or a lot of people voted for Trump despite not liking him.
The latest R.C.P. poll average shows Trump's favorability opinion at 43.8% - over six percentage points higher than when he won last time.
Morgan also doesnt think much of the Democrats who are desperately trying to make the case that they should have Trumps job.
And the Democrats seem all over the place, unsure whether to go for the age and experience of Joe Biden or the youth and inexperience of a Mayor Pete, and even more unsure whether to pivot to the center or the left.
They've stuck their heads like ostriches into the sand, and appear terrified to stick them out again lest the big bad beast of Trump shoots them down again.
So as things stand and notwithstanding unexpected events that can derail any presidency - I am going to ignore the polls and predict Trump will win comfortably in 2020.
To all those who scoff at this prediction, I simply remind you that you all scoffed last time when I repeatedly said Trump would win despite widespread poll evidence to the contrary.
Morgan believes that Democrats havent fully grasped what theyre up against. They're brimming with the same entitled, arrogant 'we'll beat Trump because he's a moron' nonsense that Hillary spewed throughout the last campaign to catastrophic self-harm. Morgan notes, quite accurately, that the Democrats have no message other than to demonize President Trump. So it all feels like déjà vu to me, said Morgan.
Indeed, it does.

Yep, even worse.
They won't go with the white woman.
They will once again select someone who is not eligible, just because she's of color.
The only way I could lie is to give them Liberal responses... and they already have tons of those (or will ‘create’ them)
Morgen might straighten out that mayor of London charging rump with racism using out of context remarks this time by playing journalist.
Dems won’t be able to spout their favorite cause, as Biden says “That 3 letter word: JOBS” this go round. Anyone who wants a job can have one. There are “help wanted” signs up everywhere. So that dog won’t hunt in this election cycle.
I agree. Trump has certainly earned a landslide, but it won’t happen for all of the reasons that you cite.
Still, if you start with conditions for a landslide, and we all do our part, he should still win comfortably.
This is why Trump should campaign in States with high taxes, homelessness and crime.

No matter how high Democrats raise taxes, they still can’t solve the issues they promised to fix. They create more poverty and crime, not less. I wonder where all of that extra tax revenue goes. Either the money is not being spent where it is needed, or they are incompetent when it comes to problem solving.
I would agree with you except the fraud is going to be dialed up to 11. I still think he wins, but not by the margin he should by
The #1 thing that everyone, everyone has to come to terms with but doesnt seem to be able to is simply this... TRUMPS BASE (MAGA BASE) is NOT THE GOP BASE! Yes, the most of the GOP base is onboard with MAGA, but thats NOT WHO the MAGA BASE IS...///
This is big and it means who the heck voted for Trump in 2016 but won’t in 2020? Very few. Now think who didn’t vote Trump, because they didn’t trust him, but will now vote for him? The second will be much large number than the first.
On the face of it...yes. But then...there is the cheating and voter fraud that will take place...at unprecedented levels. I hope Trump has things in place before election day to combat it and catch those doing it red handed.
Indeed. I can see scenarios where after Trump’s time in office is done where a new MAGA Party forms and the GOP slowly withers away.
If the Libertarians slip back into the sort of numbers they historically receive, and there is no McMullin-type independent, Trumps reelection chances are good.
If not incompetent, then they have no intention of solving any problems, AND the money is being diverted to other purposes.
So the answer is "d. All of the above"
Wait till the debates when Trump announces that since CNN gave Hillary the debate questions in advance, Trump will not appear at any debate CNN hosts.
Liberal heads will explode.

I donated, supported (talk radio host at time) and voted for Trump, but the game is the same old same old, "read my lips" stuff.
I hope and will apologize publicly if I am wrong, but I think patriots need to wake up and look at the VAST DIFFERENCE between what is being said, and WHAT IS NOT BEING DONE!
I don't expect this truth will be popular with the cult-of-personality types, but the truth is still the truth. Until this TRUTH is recognized, we won't collectively put enough pressure on Trump to get as much done as is possible. Give him credit where credit is due, and there is plenty, BUT KEEP THE PRESSURE ON his MAJOR CAMPAIGN PROMISES.
I'd be more than willing to honestly debate anyone on this.
The stage is being set for Hillary to come in, humble and requested, after the other non-pros crash and burn. This is obviously scripted, a change, a new humbled Hillary, vs the "why am I not 50 points ahead" loser from 2016.
The same felon Hillary that Donald Trump promised to put in jail 986 days ago. With this inaction Trump has simultaneously lied to his base, and allowed the most dangerous player on the board a second chance to destroy us all.
Ecc 8:11

Matthew 10:16
Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves. Be ye therefore wise as serpents and harmless as doves.
I didn’t say it would be like 1984, I said it would be the biggest since 1984. There are some states that just won’t flip.
