Today on CBS Attorney General William Barr disclosed that the Huber investigation is over.
Huber did not even start his investigation.
He didn’t do a damn thing!
AG Barr said this morning on CBS News that Huber did nothing and his work was taken over by the team he set up under US Attorney John Durham.
WILLIAM BARR: Right, so Huber had originally been asked to take a look at the FISA applications and the electronic surveillance but then he stood back and put that on hold while the Office of Inspector General was conducting its review, which would’ve been normal for the department. And he was essentially on standby in case Mr. Horowitz referred a matter to him to be handled criminally. So he has not been active on this front in recent months and so Durham is taking over that role. The other issues he’s been working on relate to Hillary Clinton. Those are winding down and hopefully we’ll be in a position to bring those to fruition.
JAN CRAWFORD: So he won’t be involved in this really at all then?
WILLIAM BARR: No.
JAN CRAWFORD: This is his role, it’s done?
WILLIAM BARR: Right.
JAN CRAWFORD: And now Durham is going to pick up–
WILLIAM BARR: Yes, right.

Unfortunately Huber & Sessions aren’t the only lousy appointments DJT has made. That doesn’t reflect on our support of him, or his political acumen. He needs help and instead he’s being sabotaged. Some real skunks are trying to damage MAGA, I’m sure you’ve noticed.
Sessions is gone because Trump finally just said to those U S Republican Senators he had to go.

What changed? Barr told Mueller to shut the sh!t show down and he did. Barr testified that Trump was spied on and that he was going to find out by whom. Barr appointed a real prosecutor with a grand jury to find out what happened. That’s what changed. Pretty significant, if you ask me.

We could speculate IG and DoJ telegraphed their intentions declining prosecution of FBI DaD.
Expect sternly worded reports about how they shouldn’t have done that, its not nice. Next time do it the right way.
OK, then, stop and think about what you’re saying. People are shrieking about inaction, as if they’d actually want action out of supposed deep state plants?
People just want to vent, they want action, they want to be entertained by getting vengeance and it’s just not working out that way, not thus far.
Again, why would anybody want action out of Huber if they believe him to be an opponent of Trump?
Trump had a number of Republican U S Senators (tell him)he had better not get rid of Sessions. Several who were on the U S Senate Judiciary Comm.

Great summary. I agree 100%. It’s always been obvious the IG was slow walk the “investigation” beltway theater. The GOP wants no part of prosecuting criminal Dems to the benefit of Trump. And it’s probable POTUS doesn’t even want to engage the Dems over Obama admin criminality without the full support of his own party. Hopefully, that will change after he wins in 2020.
