Feel sorry for the illegal aliens have to spend more time in California taxpayer subsidized hospital waiting rooms than they did sneaking across our border. California Dems want to give free health care to all illegal aliens. Could have some negative results.

They use ERs as run-of-the-mill clinics, sending costs and wait times SOARING.

Which waits will seem short under the Socialist Democrat proposed Medicare For All plans.

I would ICE could use emerrgeny rooms as a place ro round up illegals for deportation.
Sick, too bad...... off to Mexico with you
Maybe I’ll visit a Los Angeles emergency room wearing an ICE jacket. That would be a truly fun FReep

People with money go to the doc in a box convenience clinics and avoid the ER.
If you really need an ER it's best to show up in an ambulance.

In CA, never go to the ER on Sunday morning, even if you’re dying. It is Mexican clinic day.

California emergency room trips grew by almost 20%, or 2.4 million, from 2012 to 2017. My guess is that this percentage increase mirrors the growth in illegals in CA.

Hey, if they have to wait long enough, they feel better! Sounds like effective medical treatment.

Took my wife to the emergency room in a central coast California town. I appeared to be the only English speaker in the waiting room. A hospital employee came out and asked me for my $250 emergency room copay. This request was not made to any one else in the waiting room.

Heh, after they exit the clinic, they enter a corridor with guards that escort them to the interview rooms, and then....the buses.

Its because they are going to the ER for stuff that is not emergent.
Instead of providing healthcare for all, that no one wants, if the states want to provide for the poor and uninsured, they would open up more free clinics for non-emergency issues.
It would cost a fraction of the “Medicare for all BS” and it would give new docs a chance to work A LOT in a busy setting in exchange for paymnent of their student debt. And people would be able to get treated by the best educated staff available.
