I’m having a problem getting my mail. I’ve spoken with the postmaster numerous times about the situation. Her attitude is basically “we don’t care, we don’t have too”. I can’t wait until they are in charge of the health delivery mechanism.

I signed up for something called ‘informed delivery.’
It lets me find out in the morning what mail I’ll be getting in the afternoon. Check the USPS website if interested.

We watch our mail via the web. The problem lies with the HCR (Hand Contract Route) contractor. Scans our mail as delivered (not delivered), scans packages as delivered (not delivered, delivers oversize packages to the P.O., never scans or places a slip in the mailbox. There’s more but you get the idea.

It’s their job to deliver the mail. Multiple times in recent weeks we’ve had pick up packages (an 18 mile round trip) there not there, sometimes 3 trips for the same package (54 miles for the math challenged). When we tried to discuss the issue we’re basically blown off with the attitude I mentioned before.

I appreciate your suggestion, however I want them to do there job, that’s what we pay for. If they can’t fix this issue and the government takes over our health care plainly put We’re f#@ked.

What many suckers don’t get is that illegals use ERs in place of primary care physicians.

Not just illegals. In my neck of the NYS woods it's a lot of Medicaid patients who aren't in extremis, but don't like the Medicaid docs and/or don't want to wait to see one.

Would NOT be the first time I’ve been forgotten.

If I have to go Low Protein/Carb, there is NO food left, I’ve already eliminated all I can’t digest, what I can’t tolerate red dyes and Seafood, what aggravates the Synthroid efficiency, and gone Low Sodium. I get no cooperation between the Gastro/ENDO, in a plan of action. They just gave up because I’m Old, I’ll be 71 in Aug.

Proteins and carbs is about ALL I can Digest. Gastropresis is NOT a forgiving disease where digestion goes. Add in Thyroid, Low Sodium for Heart/Meniere’s. Not much left I’m allowed. Most replacement liquid meals are Soy based. I’ve looked for plant based ones and not found anything. Gastro has given up trying to control it beyond keeping the Nausea and colon emptying. Tricare is is now requiring a Prior Authorization for Linzess, which Gastro has sent in, and Express Scripts will come back with a big FAT NO again. Went through this last year with Nexium 2 40mg per day, what they left on the Formulary I can’t use as I’ve already had drug reactions to them. Buying the Equivalent of 80 MG is not cheap.

What is weird the ENDO just ran his every 6 month tests 3 weeks before, and all were ‘stable’. In comes the New PCP and now I’m classified as having Stage 3 Kidney disease, a full untreated Diabetic. Not a lot of difference in the 2 reports either. This is the ENDO’s wheelhouse, not the PCP’s.

Morning BS is usually about 110 on average. A1C1 is 6.2, usually is lower about 5.5, I only get 1 test strip a day. I’ve had NO lower teeth since Aug. Besides the removal of 11 teeth, had Bone Spurs, then had to have the Lower Jaw Re-sculpted; getting a lower denture has been a Expensive Nightmare. Denture is ready Monday if nothing has to be adjusted.

I HATE SOCIALIZED MEDICINE. Because that is what Medicare/Tricare Life is. Only difference you can choose your doc or hospital. Medicine choices are what are on the Formulary DoD contracted for. To bad you React or are Allergic to them. No Right of Appeal.
