Hard to believe Trump had no trouble with treason.
Hard to believe there’s no slant to the article.
I dunno.

Giving the president advice is one thing.
Disobeying a direct order is a punishable offense.
For a military man running to the media and undermining your Commander In Chief with confidential insider information is a disgrace.
Lock ‘em up.
If they want to run things they should run for office.

Mattis has the right to ignore the president’s orders. And the president has the right to fire him.
To: Prince Caspian
what is the basis for his right to ignore orders?

Mattis just ignored" the order.
Oh, so he admits THAT was an order.
Can't he still be court martialed?Do you treat it like an order? Or do you treat it as part of a longer conversation?
Well when you're not trying to be an asshole to your President...You ask.

No, he does not possess a right to ignore orders. He has a DUTY to follow them or resign.

Remember when Bob Woodward wrote that Mattis said Trump had the understanding of a 5th or 6th grader?

was it an order? Or is the press continuing with make Trump look bad. I think the later.

I fail to see how removing military families from a war zone, or asking military planners to attend a meeting, could be viewed as Trump’s “worst instincts”. Those actions sound completely reasonable.

Why is he coming out with this now? Was he in on efforts to overthrow the election as part of a 25th Amendment cabinet vote? Is he afraid that the Trump admin has a record of that and that is going to come out?
To: bitt
In another instance in the fall of 2017, as White House officials were planning a private meeting at Camp David to develop military options for a possible conflict with North Korea, Mattis allegedly stopped the gathering from happening.
Obstructing an elected President from information critical
to this nation’s foreign policy should be criminal!!!

Mattis also ignored orders on trannies.
I don’t think much of mattis. It is good that he and tillerson are both gone. They were too full of themselves to take orders from President Trump.
