oundary-breaking Muslim supermodel Halima Aden has made history once again by becoming the first model to wear a hijab and burkini in the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue.
In 2016, Aden became the first contestant in Miss Minnesota USA to wear a hijab and burkini, ultimately reaching the pageant's semi-finals.
"There are so many Muslim women that feel like they don't fit society's standard of beauty," she told CNN at the time. "I just wanted to tell them it's OK to be different, being different is beautiful, too."

There are pictures at the link too, if anyone is curious.
Youve come a long way baby.
They won’t see the photos as laughable in their context, will they ...
Compare the other women to her in a long sleeve, long legged blue body suit with scarves.
I get to choose, right? :-))
Uh...doesn’t that kinda defeat the purpose of a swimsuit edition? Kinda like putting a picture of a closed pizza box on a pizza commercial?
islam is a totalitarian death cult founded by a child rapist.
And for their next story, CNN will talk up a Christian woman modeling for SI...............right?
Its good if women wants to be modest, but we know this crappy media outlet cares absolutely nothing about that - they simply want to push muslims and political correctness.
no wonder arab men bang their goats.
Perfect.
They claim it’s their choice.
I suppose when their only options are:
A) Wear a headscarf
B) Be beaten for not wearing one.
C) Be gang raped for not wearing one.
D) Be killed for not wearing one.
You could say it was their *choice*.
Islam is a war plan
She killed all the fish?
More seriously though...she may be a very beautiful woman, but you can’t tell overall. I don’t mind her being modest, but it’s rather cheating to not use the same standards.
As I understand it, SI Swimsuit at this point features completely naked models, “wearing” paint. How they decided that the next logical step is a model in a burka, is anyone’s guess.
Leaves EVERYTHING to the imagination.
One must imagine that underneath that ‘swimsuit’, there is a naked lady (or a man; one never knows).
One is obviously a mammal.
