More states are ditching Christopher Columbus.

Vermont and Maine are the latest to join the growing number of cities, states and municipalities that have renamed the October holiday for the people who lived in America long before the explorer arrived.

The legislatures of both states passed bills last week that would change Columbus Day to Indigenous Peoples' Day. The bills are awaiting the governors' signatures.

ACLU of Maine Advocacy Director applauded the state's efforts.

I hope the white cracker liberals who root for this realize it's an ongoing agenda to erase the fact that white men, good, smart, ambitious, innovative, adventurous white men built civilization. And that tears every other demographic up.

They can't compete, so they destroy.

Idiots.

They should have left Columbus day alone — without him, we might not be here.

They could have just found another day to designate to celebrate native Americans, who also contributed to this country.

Kate Smith, too. It is a pathetic attempt to elevate some while eradicating others.

Columbus had nothing to do with the discovery or settlement of what became the United States. I would prefer Henry Hudson day.

Why not have an Aztec appreciation day staged with authentic human sacrifices?

The following link is to article about the formation of North America.
The originals were here millimuns prior to Columbus. But that doesn't
mean that Columbus didn't have a major influence on N America after
his landings.

It is an interesting read I thought.

If thousands of people in one small city throw Columbus parties, would Swat be called out?

They hate Columbus because he brought Christianity. They want to eliminate Christianity.

Because they were all peace-loving, one-with-nature victims of the evil white Christian. That’s how liberal history sees them.

Oooh, let’s have some human sacrifices to commemorate those wonderful Aztecs and Incas! Let’s see... how about some Humanities professors at Ivy League colleges? Do you suppose there’d be any volunteers? Surely they’d be willing... exonerate all that nasty White Guilt and go out with a statement!
