When it comes to considering the top political issues facing the country -- immigration, health care and gun control among them -- politicians in Congress can give the impression that the public is hopelessly divided on policy solutions.
In reality, the polling shows the majority of the public usually backs policy positions preferred by the Democratic Party.
A new Gallup poll released Thursday showed that two-thirds of Americans said protecting the environment should be a higher priority than economic growth and only three-in-10 who said economic growth should be given priority, even if the environment suffers to some extent. This is the highest prioritizing of the environment since spring 2000.

Yeah, the questions drive the poll. All for the desired outcome of boosting a party that is in a death spiral.

This is a Gallup poll. It is still a push poll and there are many other polls using likely voters which do not agree with this one.

We all know how reliable polls are, especially as concocted and reported by CNN and similar respected news sources. If this poll was written on thicker paper, it might be worth wiping your butt with.
Yes it’s CNN after all.
A great number of of Americans ARE too stupid to be voting. They have been indoctrinated by ignorant parents or parent; our education system; major media; social media and the democrat party.
Because the majority of those voters get their information from Prada on the Hudson and other media carrying water for the Dems.

GALLUP is not reliable. They haven’t got anything right in decades.

Wish I were kidding, but I used to work in MSM. Not uncommon for them to pull their “news” out their butts, then ask a cubicle-mate for a couple of names of “expert sources” for corroborating quotes to plug in to their pre-fabbed story.
The polled black Jewish lesbians in Berkeley, California....Austin, Texas....and Cambridge, Massachusetts.
Look, I know throwing punches at the other side is lots of fun, but could we not knock normal looking people? What’s wrong with her? I bet lots on OUR side look just like this.
I’m careful about making fun of people’s looks because nobody is perfect. Just today, at the market, *I* had to endure another couple of people laughing behind my back at my appearance. It happens a lot. I had acromegaly added to an already Roman nose. I’m so ashamed of myself I only go to a set number of places.

Any time a poll puts anything else above economic development/jobs, the poll could have been taken in any urban sh!thole in this country.
