This could not be more timely.
The governor of Virginia, Ralph Northam, who is now best-known for his notorious blackface/KKK yearbook picture, shocked the pro-life community just days before that media scandal by openly advocating for post-birth infanticide.

“If a mother is in labor…the infant would be delivered. The infant would be kept comfortable. The infant would be resuscitated if that’s what the mother and the family desired, and then a discussion would ensue between the physicians and mother,” Northam said on WTOP’s “Ask The Governor” segment late January 2019, just days before a law loosening restrictions on late-term abortions, and apparently post-birth abortions, would be struck down in the Virginia House.
He has, since then, refused to disavow these shocking comments, saying “I don’t have any regrets.”
No regrets for saying with a straight face that he, as a doctor and the governor of Virginia, would support killing a baby after it has already been born. This is on top of fully supporting the barbaric practice of abortion at any stage, of course, which is all murder and violates the Hippocratic oath he would have had to take to practice medicine to “first, do no harm.”
Animal cruelty, on the other hand, is, to Northam, more abhorrent than butchering a newborn or unborn baby, according to Life Site News:
While protecting newborn babies who survive abortions is apparently too much for Northam to support, a law against animal cruelty isn’t. Today he signed a new bill into law that would make animal cruelty a felony in the commonwealth.
Current law requires the animal to die before someone can face felony charges...

From the disparity in the degree to which this guy values animal lives compared to human lives, I am forced to ask: What is his Freeper handle?
His pathological psychological dichotomy between empathy against cruelty to an animal and total lack of empathy for the living child in the womb, much worse the child that has just been born, is something I have seen among most of the “pro-abortion” crowd that I know of personally.
It is no wonder that some well known Conservative long ago equated Liberalism, as we find it today, a mental disease.

CA gov also has decided to let those on death row, live... and new born baby, killed. PLease, tell me, how can a human being kill a tiny baby... cold blooded at the hands of some who swore by the oath to save lives. If you know/hear/see how they do it to this little baby... you’d be sick.. how can a person do that. A mother deciding to have her baby killed... used to be a mother was sacred... and now she can kill that baby she carried in her womb.

I don’t see how this will be a problem for Northram. The voters knew they were voting for a democrat.
I presume that animal cruelty includes activities deemed to cause global warming which is cruel to all animals.
Under atheist Marxist rubric all animals includes human animals. Does the law specifically exclude human animals from its protected class?

The animal has a name but the baby doesn’t. That’s reason enough to wail over the death of a dog and to sell the baby’s arms and legs at a discount.

Then after a discussion between the animal's mother and the doctor/vet, they must proceed according to "established guidelines".
