It makes me laugh that not even the lefty flavor of the month can escape getting hit for lack of wokeness while he’s enjoying his moment in the sun. His offense in this case: A single pedestrian comment made four years ago which, in context, obviously wasn’t intended to minimize police brutality against blacks.

Why does a Crip’s life, when he has inflicted untold harm on untold people and terrorized a neighborhood, matter?

However I think dragging him over the finish line for the democrat nomination would be the best thing that could happen to President Trump. The only way a democrat candidate wins the presidency is with massive black and Hispanic turnout. It's been my experience that black and Hispanic men are far less accepting and tolerant of gays than any other group. Are they going to vote for Trump? Doubtful. But they may likely just sit home on election day rather than vote for a lily white homosexual.

you’re assuming that white turnout for Trump remains static; look at black turnout for Obama’s second run, and apply that same metric to Trump in 2020...

He had made some statements that were well thought out and authentic. Apologizing for saying “All Lives Matter” is an opportunity missed. He could’ve, should’ve defended it, expressing why so many people find “Black Lives Matter” to be offensive, destructive, and racist. Conclusion....he’s just another slave to the lust for power.
