When Venezuelas Marxist dictator Nicolas Maduro addressed his citizens on Sunday, he told them that their electric power would be rationed: I have approved a 30-day plan to regulate the output. He called the plan a load management regime.
Unfortunately, owing to the rolling power outages that have plagued Venezuela over the last month, most of those citizens, if they had television, werent able to view his speech because their power was out.
That is the end point of socialism: When government interferes, products and services formerly provided by the free market become limited. Prices go up and price controls follow. The price controls further limit supply, and the final step is rationing whats left.
Maduro admitted to two failures in that short sentence: His government is unable to provide for his people; and those shortages are likely to last for a long time. The unspoken message being delivered is that socialism, no matter what it might be called, always ends in tyranny, misery, and death.

The Pfessionals running the energy grid were removed and replaced with political appointees as rewards for their loyalty to the socialist regime. Since then some 25,000 technicians skilled in running the power industry have left the country, leaving the incompetent in charge. As Maduros economy spiraled downward, funds for maintenance dried up.
Socialism, at its essence, is a political and economic system of war against civilization and humanity.
When is Pope Francis going to visit to spread his message of socialism to the impoverished?
Thirty day plan!? I thought the communists always came up with a five year plan.
And Russia is there to keep Maduro in power. Time to kick them out.
Did anybody tell her FDR died in office yet?

I don’t know when Frankie is going to show up. But when he does, he’d better bring alone a portable generator.
And armed criminal gangs control the streets.
Russia is there to collect the money owed by Venezuela. Putin doesn’t give a damn about Maduro
Socialism always ends in death
The socialists like Bernie and aoc will say the ‘right’ people need to be given a chance in America and they can make it work. But my response is what keeps the ‘right’ people in power? The very bad people always show up and take over and socialists like Bernie and aoc never seem to make the connection.
All the gold from Venezuela
is in a bank in downtown Istanbul
in Nick Maduro’s name.
So if you’re heading to Venezuela,
it don’t matter how many Bolivars you got,
toilet paper will make you king.
Socialism never addresses productivity.
Capitalism having abundant productivity, socialists think it just happened and improvement merely requires redistribution - never considering wealth is fragile, that productivity does not happen without incentive.
The only solution is to print more money!!
The only use for Venezuelan money is to wipe your butt.
I flew into Caracas, on a regular basis, in the early 90s.
The striking thing was that EVERY single window and door had iron bars over them. The cars were 1950s vintage and there were not many smiling faces to be seen. There were great bargains at the Airport Liquor store. Nice sipping rums for $9.00 US.
That’s why Venezuela’s socialism is like Paradise.
1. Your money’s no good.
2. The administration expects eternal praise.
3. It leads to nothing better.
