California & NY & IL are not enough to kill the electoral college. Rats need to get Ohio & Florida to do the job.

It’s completely inconceivable to me how or why the people of a state would vote for this. I have zero understanding of how this has any appeal at all.

The rats are busy gathering as many states with few electoral votes as well. I think this movement is a real threat, so many don’t understand the electoral college and believe their votes would count more with popular vote. People in small states like where I live in NM have no clue how the electoral college works FOR them.

I’m wondering how this might help Trump, give him an even bigger landslide in 2020.

Have they even glanced at that thingy written some 200 plus years ago regarding how the president is elected? Cause I do believe there are some words which would put a spanner in their scheme.

They’re voting on whether to disenfranchise themselves (and their children).

An Ohio vote is virtually meaningless then.

In other words - Ohio voters could very well have their electoral votes go to a candidate they did NOT choose... this is absurd.

Why would these states give away their influence over the election of the president? What is going on?

I’ve said this before, Trump or someone with his ability to get huge coverage, needs to be telling people origins, found ing era things. Explain why electoral college is important and this “popular’ vote thing is bogus to our form of government.

explain how our founders thought of illegals and why they set up our country in ways to avoid the problems we have now.

etc

Trump just saying congress needs to, blah blah blah, doesn’t tell the poeple who have been brain washed in schools for the last 40 years start to understand the huge lies the Lefts been pushing for decades.

Yeah, no.
It violates the Constitution of the United States to do that.
It was ruled that the states must obey the US Constitution.

All these idiotic, suicidal states that are doing this now (including the one I live in) will reverse this as soon as (if) Trump wins the next election by popular vote too.

(Assuming that he can overcome the massive cheating that the Dems finally perfected last November)

How far do the democrats have to go before they are declared a criminal organization? Slavery, check. Civil war, check. Importing millions of illegals, check. Fomenting a so-far failed coup, check. Subverting the Constitution... check.

"SECTION 4. The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened) against domestic Violence."

A Republican form of government is one in which the people elect representatives to make decisions for them, not other popular masses.

This seems to preclude a state from doing an end run around the Electoral College by subjecting its citizens to the tyranny of the majority vote of some other states. It is not that state’s now living citizens’ votes that make the choice but the votes of some dead citizens who passed this state’s constitutional amendment to cede their descendants’ votes to the electors in other states! Highly unconstitutional!
