Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) was asked if the country needs another white president during a radio interview on Monday. “So, Bernie, 44 out of 45 presidents in this country have been white men, do you think we need another one?” host Charlamagne tha God’s Donkey of the Day (SIC), asked as his first question to Sanders on "The Breakfast Club," a morning-drive program on Power 105.1 in New York City.
“Well, I think you need this one," Sanders responded. "Look, we are living in an unprecedented time. We have the most dangerous president in the modern history of this country, somebody who is a pathological liar, a fraud, a racist, a sexist, a homophobe."
"Now you just get warmed up. You know this is a bad news guy. The most important thing that has got to happen is that this dangerous president is defeated. I’m going to do everything I can to defeat him. I look forward to winning the Democratic nomination. And if I don’t I will support anybody else who’s out there to defeat him, but this guy cannot win another term.”
Sanders was also asked about his position on reparations, which several other Democratic presidential candidates, including Sen. Kamala Harris, have voiced support for though they have not issued a specific proposal.
“What do we mean by reparations?” Sanders asked. “To my mind, it means we have to deal with the fact that there is enormous disparity between the black community and the white community. And that issue has got to be addressed.”
“I think they mean some type of economic empowerment to the African-American community,” Tha God explained.
“What does that mean, economic empowerment?” Sanders asked. “I would do my best to change the banking system so that we pay attention to distressed communities that people get the loans that they need, to make the investments they need.”
“Cash payouts?” Tha God asked.
“No,” Sanders replied. “You mean just a check to every African-American? Well then there’s a check to every Native American… I think the way we go forward is we build America. There are distressed communities — white communities — distressed Latino communities.”
Sanders announced his candidacy into an already-crowded presidential race last month.
The 77-year-old self-described Democratic socialist gave Hillary Clinton a much-tougher-than-expected run for the party's nomination in 2016.
What difference does their skin color matter? I’d rather have a Black person who thinks like Trump, than a white person who thinks like Bernie.

Bernie is the least corrupt they’ve got. I agree with him about party corruption. I just have a hard time believing he doesn’t see where socialism leads. He seems smart enough to understand it’s against human nature and needs the kind of oligarchy of Anointed he claims to hate, in order to rule the people.

Okay, let’s go with the quota system for electing presidents.
Blacks comprise about 12% of the population, so, every tenth president should be black, even if not qualified.
Let’s expand that to every other endeavor in American life: every 10th basketball player should be black, with about88-90% being white or ‘other’. Same with baseball and football and every other sport.
Let’s do the same with business executives. Let’s see what kind of outcomes we get from the quota system, and then, let’s do something about poor results or failures, where people will have to be accountable for their piss-poor results.
If qualifications have to take a backseat to race or gender, then, blacks aren’t going to like the outcome.

He’ll say:”Many new horizons are needed to be opened. The real question is how can our country solve its problems caused by Trump. I will take a new course away from Trump’s course.”
What do you see as the proper definition of socialism, communism and capitalism?
He says: It is time, overdue time, to change Trump’s racist and xenophobic plans to destroy our country. I will face that squarely.
What form are white reparations to blacks going to take and to whom?

Oh. I suppose. If pressed again for the answer he raises his voice, shakes his finger at the person and then starts yelling about how he will overturn the Trump ways.

Not to nitpick, but 43 out of 44 have been white. Grover Cleveland was white twice.

Reparations for what? Fine, I’ll be on board paying reparations to any slave who is still alive 156 years after the Emancipation Proclamation. But first, they need to take their complaint to Africa which originally sold them.

IOW, he's trying to own the middle in order to win the nomination, but will shift to reparations for the election campaign. Thanks yesthatjallen.
