A black man should be killed if hes messing with a white woman. This sentiment was uttered not in 1875 but 1975 by a man with an airport named in his honor. This brings us to the effort to strip late actor John Waynes name from the airport in Orange County, California.
Those advocating such point to what they consider the sheer crudeness of the actors feelings about gay people, black people, Native Americans, young people and liberals, as the Los Angeles Times Michael Hiltzik puts it. But my opening, eyebrow-raising quotation is whats truly shocking here. Lets be fair: How can a man who uttered it have an airport named after him in 2019?
How?
Because the man who uttered it was not John Wayne.
It was late boxer Muhammad Ali...

In this Upside Down World that the Socialists are hell-bent on creating, it truly was just a matter of time.
I’m sure they’ll want to re-name it Karl Marx Airport.
*SPIT*
Bob Hope airport in Burbank has been changed to Pasadena/Burbank/Hollywood airport.
What did Bob Hope ever do?
The NWO wants to use racists from other groups to displace whites and white culture. The enemy is guarding the hen house.
Lets see... What people have said to kill DJT and arent yet behind bars? Self-righteous hypocrites, all of them.
It APPEARS, lately, that what you can get away with saying depends entirely on the color of your skin. ENTIRELY.
Someone ought to do a full on study of this, interviewing people on the street, using two quotes from different raced people, and see what is seen as ok and what is unpardonable, and how that connects to the race of the quoted person. And maybe the race of the questioned subject.
That is really sad. Im sorry Bob Hope lost his airport. He invested so much in SoCal infrastructure. He deserved it.
Think of all the Wilson High Schools, named after the racist, liberal President.
Che routinely said blacks were stupid and lazy and worthless yet you liberals run around wearing his image on your shirts...
So this article is kind of a response to the leftist calls to rename John Wayne Airport.
“I won’t be wronged, I won’t be insulted, and I won’t be laid a hand on. I don’t do these things to other people, and I require the same from them.” - John in his last role as “The Shootist”. Most admirable but I’d have shot about forty people by now if not tolerable of modern rudeness and barbarity. But I thought about it every time.
What should they name it? Huff & Snuff Skyway or Andreochrome Airport?
Golden West's "Twin Otter" flights from LAX to John Wayne were the highlight of my entire journeys from DFW to CA and back.
Frequently, we lifted off from a LAX taxiway, and always flew just offshore with spectacular views of Long Beach, Seal Beach, Huntington Beach, and then went feet dry over Newport...
FWIW, JW's General Aviation parking ramps always have some of the world's coolest toys parked there... '-)
They fight each other to be first in line to apologize to leftists and sacrifice their own.
If you like good Country, consider buying the debut EP by Runaway June. The song called “Wild West” invokes John Wayne.
Jennifer Wayne, the high voice in the she-trio is John Wayne’s granddaughter.
20 years ago, a Hispanic woman in California was quoted in the papers as saying, There is no room for Bob Hope or Roy Rogers in the Reconquest.
Got it. Im behind the curve all too often
How about Bat Country Airport?
...and suddenly there was a terrible roar all around us and the sky was full of what looked like huge bats, all swooping and screeching and diving around the car .
Perfection.
I’m going to call California Bat Country now.
