I’m thinking about this:. Some random petty criminal schmuck like me couldn’t get multiple big name lawyers to help me that quickly, even if I waved my wallet around. The politically connected are involved in this affair, possibly before the fact.
The silver lining? With this case and with the Covington HS young men, the media and the anti-Trumpers pushed too hard with their framing false narratives.
I’m rather surprised to see entities in Chicago going against this guy with such fervor.
If they convict him and block the Kenyan’s monument to himself, the Taj MaSmall, I may have to alter my opinion of the city a bit.

This Jussie Smollett thing, is just the latest example of “fake bigotry hate crimes”. For some reason spoiled (misnamed) “progressives” feel a real need to be victims... and they’re cheered on by an unquestioning media! Trump has really messed with their heads! ‘Cause just when we think they can get no more insane... they get insanier!
I don’t understand why a Chicago law enforcement agency is going after an anti-Trump guy. They despise Trump. Isn’t Rahm still Mayor there? I don’t get it.
I used to think he would get off with a slap on the wrist. Now I am not so sure. I wonder if the CPD and media are going to make an example out of him. It’s not what he did so much as the embarrassment he caused when their bias trapped them. Even the media has to know they have been played as fools.
Something tells me the cops actually DO have video of the meeting between Smollett and the two brothers and there was no assault, maybe even money being exchanged on camera. It would seem very hard to get a conviction without it.
