Many years ago, I would occasionally watch and enjoy Oprah on TV. It’s been more than 30 years ago, however. None of the women I know well watch her program, and certainly don’t talk about her.
Having a TV following isn’t saying much, these days, when you consider the popularity and content of shows by Jerry Springer and Maury Povich (”You are.....NOT the father of Ding-a-Ling’s baby!”) with all their “scandal” and exaggerated dramatics.
No, I don’t watch those either, but my job takes me into other people’s homes so I occasionally become a captive audience.
In the pictures I saw, the color looked more Pond Scum Green than gray.
A simple style, but not flattering.
She should also realize that appearing onstage with these little tiny petite women isn’t to her advantage, either. She doesn’t look “queenly,” she looks gawky.

I’ve never seen her show, and while my wife doesn’t watch she tells me many women do. She’s made a ton of money, so her advertisers must think she has an audience worth pursuing. I really wouldn’t know, so I wouldn’t dismiss her.
I’m surprised “The Maury Show” is even allowed to air; I’ve only seen it when I’m home on a weekday (which is rare), and nobody can watch that without ending up with a low opinion of certain groups...
