The full interview is at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pWsrPpdqSgs. Cardinal Dolan, as usual, blathers on and refuses to act effectively on the new abortion/infanticide law in New York State. He relinquishes his moral authority as a Successor to the Apostles and presents himself as not having much "clout"! On the contrary, excommunication would inform Andrew Cuomo of the great peril his soul is in and invite him to repent and return to the Church. Excommunication would also make clear the Church's teaching that "abortion and infanticide are unspeakable crimes" ("Gaudium et Spes," 51).
A detailed response to Dolan's claims is at https://dorothydayworker.blogspot.com/2019/02/no-surprise-morally-bankrupt-cardinal.html

Perhaps if he could muster a little outrage over this. You know, pretend the murdered babies were illegal aliens or homosexuals, some group he cares deeply about.

I think this is a big reason so many people are leaving the churches, regardless of denomination. They no longer stand for anything or provide any moral leadership.

In the video clip he talks about the "Left," but then instead of talking about the "Right," he talks about the "far Right." To me, that's very telling. The "far Right," apparently, is made up of faithful Catholics. And as far as his "Don't look to me!" crap---what the heck are you a freaking BISHOP for, then? What a disgrace this man is.

If they didn’t excommunicate Dead Ted when he was screwing/raping and killing everything even remotely resembling a female, they’ll excommunicate no one.
Perhaps the church might start with excommunicating a good percentage of the Vatican clergy.

Dolan is getting paid off by the NY Democrat Party. The Catholic Church is just another wing of the RAT Party today.

This dope offers a perfect illustration of why Jesus Christ selected one of his most flawed apostles to be “the rock upon which I will build my Church.” The Church is designed to be led by real men who don’t think twice about drawing a sword and attacking the people who came to arrest their master.

And there's most assuredly nobody in Rome who has the authority. But Cuomo The Lesser would be wise to understand that there's a Higher Authority than any mere mortal that you'll find in Rome...or New York.

Too bad we don’t have a Pope like John Paul the 2nd. Dolan would be replaced in a heartbeat. The Catholic Church in the US is leaderless. Murder is now widely accepted. Now they’re killing babies next it will be the elderly......and so it goes.

He doesn’t want to alienate “Catholic Democrats”. But I’m sure he would have no problem speaking out against Trump and his wall. Remember how he has chummed up to 0bama in the past at public meetings. I guess he’s going along to get along with his boss Pope Frankie.
Just more of the same poison fruit from the barren Catholic branch.

During the Revolutionary War— pastors and bishops served in our militia and in the Continental Army. Methodists, Presbys, Episcopalians, Baptists and a few committed Catholics— all of them against the Brit Monarchy.
This “archbishop” must have a lot in the libs extortion file— to describe himself as not having much clout. What a fool of a “leader” in the Church.
The “outing” of this fool plays right into the hands of the child murdering Statists. Cuomo is a true Socialist— in the Nazi tradition. A non-Nationalist Socialist-— a rare thing in Italian politics in the old country.
