The ocean will not look the same color in the future. It won't turn pink or anything radically different; the change will be more apparent through optic sensors than though the human eye. But it serves as an early warning sign that global warming is significantly altering the planet's ecosystems, according to a new study.
Essentially, climate change will make the blues of the ocean bluer and the greens greener. Scientists figured this out by creating a global model that simulates the growth of a tiny creature that lives in the oceans and affects the color we see. Their research was published Monday in the journal Nature Communications.
Climate change will bring a color change to half of the world's oceans by the end of the 21st century, the study says. That's bad for climate change on several levels: For one, phytoplankton remove about as much carbon dioxide from the air as plants and help regulate our climate, research shows. They are also key to other animals' survival.
"The change is not a good thing, since it will definitely impact the rest of the food web," said study co-author Stephanie Dutkiewank, a principal research scientist in MIT's Department of Earth, Atmospheric, and Planetary Sciences. "Phytoplankton are at the base, and if the base changes, it endangers everything else along the food web, going far enough to the polar bears or tuna or just about anything that you want to eat or love to see in pictures."

CNN FAKE NEWS BS!!!..... Climate has changed on earth for millions of years!....Get over it!
And there’s even a White Sea! It’s in Russia. Who’d of thunk it!!!
But the real question is, will climate change ever balance the budget ?
green the color of the money the ruling elite will steal from us peasants and have us eat dirt.
Back in the day of film and photographs, it was an accepted practice to ‘bracket’ a given picture, by changing the shutter speed and f-stop so that you could get the optimum exposure and depth of field.
On one occasion I made drastic changes of the settings, to see the affect.
Kodak processing had adopted a ‘Colorwatch’ system for their photographs.
When I examined the photos I could not see any difference between them.
So when they process the pictures (film or digital) I’m sure they can make the oceans any color, hue, shade or tone that they want.
Something new that only libtards and one-worlders have the ability to see.
A new picture!
That lucky old, has nuthin to do, but roll around Heaven all day. Nice work, if you can get it.
....AND, like Herpes Complex 14, it will rot the ball bearings from your roller skates.
These days all of my digital cameras allow the user to change the “white balance” so that the colors come out different without even using a filter. The problem with the claims made in this paper is that it is based on theory and not the actual examination of data from a controlled experiment or conditions. In other words it is the same as all the other claims made by “climate change” advocates.
I see what you did there...
Next up: Kaleidoscope eyes
When I pee in the ocean it changes color a little, for a few seconds anyway. Then a big wave comes along and knocks me over.
Does this mean I'm an Agent Of Global Warming?
So, that’s YOU doing that!

Ha!
Nailed it!
“climate change will make the blues of the ocean bluer and the greens greener.”
So, basically climate change is laundry detergent.
I read, “Gonna be even prettier with more vivid blues and more verdant greens...”
