California Democratic Sen. Kamala Harris, speaking during a town hall Monday night, vowed to eliminate all private health care insurance for approximately 150 million Americans if she is elected president.
Asked by CNN host Jake Tapper if people who like their current health care insurance could keep it under Harris' "Medicare for All" plan, Harris indicated they could not -- but that, in turn, they would experience health care without any delays.
Her statements appeared to be a full-throated call for single-payer health insurance, as opposed to merely expanding Medicare, and a dramatic embrace of the kind of proposals advocated by Vermont Independent Sen. Bernie Sanders.

I agree with most of the items listed. clinton got a pass for his low-life behavior, which began our social decline into the abyss.
Harris can gang-bang the Dallas Cowboys on the White House lawn and most won’t care.
However, If she gets far enough along to threaten Trump, I think he will call her out on her eligibility, and take it to SCOTUS if necessary. His base will demand that he do it.
President Trump cannot build a wall over the determined opposition of both Houses of Congress.
There is a desperate need in America to have “Common Sense Socialism Control”. It’s for the children.
Jim, you make a very good point. I thing the issue can be further refined. They have think tanks of marxism that give them solutions that become their mantra. They all learn and repeat it insisting upon certain change.
There are solutions provide outside of marxism. However, we that detest marxism are too busy working and/or living our lives to learn those mantras and repeat them in unison producing a faction in favor. We have invented a world that supports their culture of spending half their time wrecking our world..

Laughable. Medicare for all is a horrible idea. She intends to take us straight into the British nightmare of national healthcare. That’s all single payer is.
Single payer, lol. Imagine what grocery shopping would look like with a “single payer” for your groceries. Imagine what buying a pizza would look like if pizza was a “right” and there was a “single payer”.
I have a member of my extended family who works for a BC/BS partner. One of the problems Harris is going to have is that according to him, BC/BS employs nearly as many otherwise unemployable people who are members of designated victim groups as the Government does.
First she is going to have to solve the conundrum of how to do this without putting millions of her own supporters out on the street.
They should ban getting sick - if you are sick just identify as a healthy person. Problem solved.
Well, the NHS is the most popular thing in the UK, so I don't know that "nightmare" is quite the right word.
They have different priorities, which the NHS is designed to address. To the extent possible within a fixed budget, they address most of the people's priorities, most of the time.
What's a nightmare is $22 trillion in debt to pay for everything for everyone, with no budget and therefore no control over expenses. Now look, I favor a private sector, where people can buy whatever services they want, like they pay for boob jobs now.
But the fact is that the resource extraction machine that has been created by hospitals, payers, and drug companies is NOT aligned with Americans' preferences, and they are (eventually) going to use voting to destroy it.
All I am saying is that, since what we have now is going to end, that people other than communists should be thinking about what comes next.

She just saw how obamacare fail and cost millions their jobs or had their hours shorten and end up with no medical coverage yet she wants to go back to it?
I am on Medicare and have an Advantage Policy that is run by a PRIVATE Healthcare Company. Medicare pays them a lump sum or the Coverage. Democrats want to get rid of Advantage Plans.
Last year I had a Supplemental Policy. Medicare did not pay two charges related to Blood Work as part of my Annual Physical so the Supplemental Insurance didn’t cover them.
The Supplemental only pays the 20% portion of a Medicare Claim but if the charge is refused, the Supplemental doesn’t pay anything.
I filed an Appeal with Medicare and lost. I ended up paying the charges myself.
If Kamala gets in, Venezuela will look like a wonderful place to Retire.
