California Democratic Sen. Kamala Harris, speaking during a town hall Monday night, vowed to eliminate all private health care insurance for approximately 150 million Americans if she is elected president.
Asked by CNN host Jake Tapper if people who like their current health care insurance could keep it under Harris' "Medicare for All" plan, Harris indicated they could not -- but that, in turn, they would experience health care without any delays.
Her statements appeared to be a full-throated call for single-payer health insurance, as opposed to merely expanding Medicare, and a dramatic embrace of the kind of proposals advocated by Vermont Independent Sen. Bernie Sanders.

Camel-zilla ... positioning herself to the left of both Bernie and the Fake Indian ... dumber than both ...
This is a good idea:
- Under “Medicare for All”, if we like our doctor, we can keep our doctor.
- Under “Medicare for All”, the average family of four will save $2500 a year.
- Under “Medicare for All”, the deficit will go down because paying for everyone will cost a lot less than just paying for a small minority.
- Under “Medicare for All”, we will have fewer emergency room visits because people will be able to see their regular doctor.
- Under “Medicare for All”, there will be no reason to raise taxes on the middle class.
Kamala Harris already knows what to promise. Productive Americans already know what to believe.
She should go back to her affairs with Crooked Willie Brown.
This side show is very entertaining, Ill raise you and raise you 5 times more. The danger is not only parading around as a black women but an arrogant one is a tri fecta in the rats eyes, black, a women and arrogant. No one will be able to question her or have a different opinion. Example shiela Jackson lee convicted any white man for the death of a little girl before knowing anything about the case until she found out the perp was black and then instead of apologizing I was wrong comment said we need to school those (whitey) who otherwise may think they are innocent before proven guilty that they are privileged and will be guilty before proven innocent because they are white.
Cant speak of her without vile language. Nuff said.
Horizontal Harris sweeping her way to the bottom....
And will she be exempt as usual? Of course.
“Private” health plans are not going to survive another ten years.
Start thinking about what comes next. If the only people thinking about that are communists, what comes next is communism.
This woman is dangerous. I have bad feelings about our future if we don’t fight.
It would be a lot cheaper to simply lock her up for treatment of California STD’s.
The American people want two things - a secure Southern border and an end to the “healthcare” racket.
The Democrats are promising one of two. The Republicans promise neither.
What do you suppose is going to happen?
No delays? Are you going to force doctors and other high level medical professionals at gunpoint to work for low pay? I guess you are.
You should have bad feelings about our future. See my #11.
There are dozens of ways out of the current "healthcare" mess. Communism is only one.
But the only people working the issue (politically) are communists.
I have bad feelings, too.
It takes severe disconnection from reality to tout no delays as a feature of single payer. Has Kamala never heard of Canada? Will any reporter ask her about Canada? Does any reporter care?
Lack of transparency is a huge political advantage, Obamacare architect Jonathan Gruber said. And basically, call it the stupidity of the American voter, or whatever, but basically that was really, really critical for the thing to pass.
Gruber wasnt concerned about the calamitous roll-out of the Obamacare system, including a website that was only marginally functional. The website will work fine its going to be fine, Gruber said in the interview. I think the short attention span of the American public works to the presidents advantage, here. I think a year from now when the laws working, it will be long forgotten.
In tomorrow’s episode of dirt-back Harris; “That Constitution thingy...”
I suppose "low pay" is a relative term, but pay to doctors is not a driver of the current crisis.
A wave of physician suicide, massive early retirements, the fact that we have an inverted workload pyramid (60s work harder and longer than 50s, who work harder and longer than 40s, etc) so that each retiring physician needs two replacements, the erection of a gigantic Potemkin Village structure based on electronic records which create a simulation of quality and care while actual quality and effective care deteriorate relentlessly - all this has been brought to you by a more-or-less illegal conglomerate of hospitals-"private" health plans-big pharma and the government.
THAT is what you have now. It is not going to survive.
So, the question is, how can it be done better?
As I said above, if the only people working the problem are communists, what you are going to get is communism.
