You are so right on that score. I’m just saying I like to mull things over and get more information before I decide what the true situation is.
The media will be saying President Trump folds on the same day Roger Stone is arrested.
Time will tell if that is correct. However, things often appear one way when they are the other. President ztrump now get his State of the Union speech where he can make his case to the world. Plus will RGB show up? If not, then it’s time for a new Supreme Court Justice.

Something to remember
The GOP and Trump had two years to do something, anything, and nothing happened.
Expecting the dems to do it is rather stupid.
Expecting the shutdown to work is rather mad.
Now, Trump is an excellent salesman, He can sell ice to to Alaska. The only question is what is he actually trying to sell?

IMO < he has just given the Democrats he last chance to bargain in good faith. He reopened the government and took a hit for it. Now if Nancy and Chuck don’t bargain in good faith, he can say he’s done everything he can to work with them.
At that point he simply declares a national emergency and builds the wall.
Nancy and Chuck can then scream, yell, pout, toss a hissy fit, claim victory if they like, or whatever else they want.
The wall goes up.
They’ve just won a Pyrrhic Victory. It looks good in print, but the end result will be that Trump provides what he promised.
They will have absolutely no input regarding the wall. As for DACA, they may just lose their last bargaining chip on that as well.
Since his republican support has abandoned him, perhaps he should declare a national emergency and then appeal directly to the Supreme Court when they try to stop him. Let's just see.
