“...The Wall is just a symbol...”

I respectfully completely disagree. https://www.bloomberg.com/opinion/articles/2018-04-18/gaza-protests-are-pointless-thanks-to-israel-s-iron-wall

Israel’s iron wall WORKS. Ours will work as well. This is not a symbol.

This trial balloon is nothing new from Dems. They have been talking about “technology” for the border throughout the shutdown.

Problem is the technology is not there as its still years away not to mention the climate of the border is not friendly to electronics..

new type of Wall...

Only put up one that Obama, Hillary,Pelosi,Feinstein and all the others would agree to live behind in their mansions.

They want a colorful cardboard wall all across the border with border agents taking Polaroid snapshots of illegals to be placed on post office “wanted” corkboards. The Polaroids came from a warehouse of forgotten unclaimed freight from Polaroid.

So what they are offering is a watered down version of the Secure Fence Act of 2006, which Congress passed, President GW Bush ceremoniously signed and was supposed to give us $50 Billion of wall and high tech surveillance. What we got instead was 14 miles of wall in San Diego and little else. If Trump agreed to this proposal he will have been duped by the false promises of Democrats like his predecessors Reagan and Bush.

’21st century’ border security>>>

That’s the kind of security bought and paid for by Mexican Cartel Payments to the Democrats, likely totaling many, many millions of dollars.

Yep, 21st Century Security to the Dems is a cartel Marketing scheme of smuggled drugs , sex slaves who are women and children ,and Mafia like latino organizations throughout our country.

Yep, that’s real 21st Century Security, straight from the medieval cazbas of places like Somalia and Yemen.

Yep, nothing like 21st Century Security, the security of millions of illegal crime dollars right in Dem coffers.

Cha-ching!

The offer is a possible path toward a compromise even though it does not have the money the president wants for building the wall between the U.S and Mexico.

Money is not the problem. Dem-party opposition is. $5.7 billion is peanuts to a government that spent over $3.5 Trillion last year.

The Border Patrol has said a physical wall is the only thing that will work.

A wall defines our national boundary and avoids the problem of prescriptive easement when invaders cross our borders. It’s a legal detail, not a moral question.

“21st century tech” can always be removed or not used, as is the plan of the leftist communist bastards who call themselves “Democrats.”

However, a wall, once constructed, is a physical barrier not so easily torn down - particularly when it proves effective, as it will undoubtedly so do.

“If anyone recognizes a bait and switch job it’s Trump.”

And that’s exactly what this is. The Democrats make all sorts of promises to get what they want and then they promptly renege on those promises.

Trump must insist that those lying, scheming bastards deliver on their end of the deal FIRST or else it’s time to start permanently firing 800,000 Democrats from the Federal payroll.

Can we arm the drones and shoot when someone tries to come over the border through an undesignated location?

If Trump counters with that he should get his wall.

FNC just came out with a poll. 10% are severely affected by shutdown; 20% are moderately affected; and 66% are not affected at all.

In the meantime, Pelosi is having a hard time keeping her moderates in line.

Good, in 2020, those seats can turned R.

That way they can streamline the line to the voter's registration table.

So they have drones only to cut them when they get power. With a wall it is much harder to get rid of it.

We wasted a billion dollars on a virtual wall between W and Obama. The project failed and Obama cancelled it as unworkable. That should be Trump’s response here
