In light of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburgs history of cancers and most recently, a surgery to have cancerous tumors removed from her lungs as well as her absence from the bench, Dr. Joseph Bentivegna writes Bader, 85, is quite ill.
Dr. Bentivegna, M.D. says the media who have commented on Ginsburgs health are underestimating the severity of her illness, and that President Trump has a reasonable chance of replacing Ginsburg in his first term.
If Trump wins reelection, the doctor believes Trump has at least an 80% chance of replacing Ginsburg we believe that chance is much much higher.
The doctor laid out Ginsburgs history of illness in his blog post, but points out the most significant thing is the justices recent surgery on her lungs to remove tumors.
1. She had non-metastatic colon cancer removed in 1999
2. She had non-metastatic pancreatic cancer removed in 2010.
3. She had a stent placed in her coronary arteries in 2014
4. She fell in November of 2018 and broke three ribs.
5. She had surgery in December of 2018 and had two malignant nodules removed from her lungs.
6. Scans found no other cancer in her body.
7. She is 85 years old and has no history of being a smoker.
According to Dr. Bentivegna, the key here is what type of cancer Ginsburg had on her lungs. It has already been determined that the tumors removed were malignant, however, there is one more layer to this.
The doctor points out that we still dont know what type of cancer Ginsburg has:

A little birdie (in DC) tells me Ruth Bader Ginsburg announces her retirement tomorrow. If so, get ready 4 Trump Derangement Syndrome squared. Libs will need kiss from mommy, straight jacket & rubber room. Lots of moaning, wailing & heads banging against doors.
Wayne is pretty well known for odds. We will see if he is correct.
Those poor tumors, being infected with Ginsburg.
YES...!!!!!
Just had a horrible thought... I hope the President doesn’t offer up a more liberal nominee to get the wall funding.
We could BARELY keep up with her..!!!
I’m of the belief that she no longer has to be worried about cancer killing her.
My guess is she has already notified the President of her impending retirement. It’s just been kept top secret.......................
He’s has been dying from the same heart attack for the last twenty years.

She's too feeble and weak to survive chemotherapy. She may have decided to ride it out.
You still haven't figured President Trump out? Even more important than his promise to build a wall was his promise to only nominate Conservative Constitutional originalists. There is no way that the President would ever go back on that promise.
If she had Pancreatic Cancer, there’s a 95% chance it metastasized into other organs, even though scans said it didn’t. It’s the most insidious cancer there is.
I was in the hospital for 23 days, as the DRs thought I had it, but it wound-up being Severe/Acute Pancreatitis I lost 131-lbs and died 2x, but they brought me back.
Sad to say that RBG is probably on her way out.
That reminds me.
Time to head over to DU for some laughs.
This is just as irrelevant and irresponsible as the diagnoses of psychologists who label President Trump as mentally ill without the benefit of a real examination.
He certainly better not compromise like that. The border wall will get done one way or the other, maybe using other funds. With the Supreme Court, we only have a few chances in a lifetime to make it right.
Only the good die young.
The SCOTUS nomination is forever; the fight over the wall will still be there next week, and the week after that...
Besides, Democrats never negotiate in good faith; they will take the nomination and then renege on the wall funding.
