I suspect that RBG is trying to hold on until next years when the phony BIDEN rule takes effect.
It is a rule without teeth, and from what I can see, has no merits. We as conservatives, can invoke it if we wish, or not, because there is really nothing there. Just because we used it once to our advantage does not mean we shouldn't ignore it when it stands in our way.

You may be right. But, if she's just "hanging on," and misses many court duties, it can be argued that she's the obstructionist, so the gentlemen's agreement that is this rule has been violated, and is therefore void in this case.

Well, maybe so. But FOR THIS YEAR I’d like to see the Republican Senate and the President work so, by the end of the calendar year, we’ll be able to count the number of remaining judicial vacancies on one hand.
BOTH the Senate and President Trump need to get cracking to QUICKLY fill the MANY VACANCIES on US federal judgeships. There are over 140 vacancies of which around 70 had nominees pending in the last Congress. But there were around 70 for which Trump had not yet submitted nominees.

I hope President Trump (and Lindsey Graham, the new Judiciary Committee Chairman) give this effort the URGENCY it needs.

Our narrative is simple, hey, Biden and Obama and Schumer are all on record to support the wall, then they weren't. So we can change our minds too!
There has to be a way to bypass or remove an incapacitated Supreme Court justice. Anybody know what it is...specifically?
