Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairwoman Ronna Romney McDaniel, the niece of Sen.-elect Mitt Romney (R-Utah), blasted the incoming lawmaker on Wednesday, saying that the op-ed he wrote criticizing President Trump was "disappointing and unproductive."
"POTUS is attacked and obstructed by the MSM media and Democrats 24/7," McDaniel wrote on Twitter. "For an incoming Republican freshman senator to attack @realdonaldtrump as their first act feeds into what the Democrats and media want and is disappointing and unproductive."

Trump responded to Romney's criticism on Wednesday, arguing that the 2012 presidential nominee should be a "team player" for Republicans.
"Here we go with Mitt Romney, but so fast! Question will be, is he a Flake?" Trump tweeted, referring to outgoing Sen. Jeff Flake (R-Ariz.). "I hope not. Would much prefer that Mitt focus on Border Security and so many other things where he can be helpful. I won big, and he didn’t. He should be happy for all Republicans. Be a TEAM player & WIN!"

Shouldn’t Ronna Romney be fired from the RNC for losing the House, and letting the Dems get away with all that election robbing?
We need someone who gets results. The Dems have Tom Perez, and unfortunately he is a very sharp and ruthless political operator.
Ronna should go for the good of the Party, but after Mitt’s Manifesto, she can’t be trusted for 2020.

I think Romney was bit by Flake and now he is walking like a zombie. Or, maybe he was bit by that dog he had on the roof of his car and has been walking like a zombie ever since.

Why is a “slam” needed at all? I think the adjectives used were perfect to sum up the absolute needlessness of his op ed.

McCarthy rode in in June and raised 70 million in his place ,but it was much too little and too late.
With redistricting in PA and Va,major retirements and stealing 7 seats in Calif.,we probably would have lost the house anyway,but it would have been MUCH closer. say a 25 seat loss.
