Senator-elect Mitt Romney’s niece is Ronna McDaniel, Chairwoman of the Republican National Committee (RNC). Senator Romney didn’t just wake up on New Year’s Day and haphazardly write a specifically constructed character assassination against the President of the republican party; who is currently the President of the United States.
No, this attack was done with forethought and specific intent.

I've hated him since he came out with his unprovoked attacked on Trump during the campaign. There was not need for it. It was petty and ugly. It made him look bad, especially after Trump won the election.
He's pining to be president by way of the Senate, after he failed miserably by way of being governor of Massachusetts.
The old school Republicans don't like Trump at all. They think they represent the Republican Party and Trump tarnishes the party and the presidency itself.
What Romney doesn't grasp is that the old Republican Party is dying and the new party is the one of Trump deplorables.
It takes a real loser to go from presidential candidate in 2008 and 2012 to junior senator from Utah in 2019.

Trump’s buddies like Sebastian Gorka and Steve Bannon worked against the POTUS in the fall of 2017 in Alabama pushing Roy Moore over the lobbyist Trump endorsed for the Senate seat in primary runoff.
Then the sex allegations and lukewarm support from the POTUS for Moore in the race with the Dem,, not the fighting support he gave to Kavanaugh for Supreme Court.

You make great points and likewise your questions...I do trust PDJT, and I’m sure he’s miscalculated on a few choices...I have to trust he grows more shrewd, crafty, wise with each one. I still like gorka and Bannon...we are for sure at war.
