$5B is the request right now. It’s chump change. This isn’t a time for compromise. This is a time for saying, “Give me $5B. Nothing happens until I get $5B.”

“Dig in” & “break em” are said to be Grahamnesty’s favorite phrases overheard at senate bi-partisan steam room parties.

If we are talking about opening bids, it should be 25 billion, and E-Verify, end automatic deportation of illegal entry or overstays, and end of birthright citizenship, and of chain migration, and deporting DACA. That would be a more reasonable and meaningful starting point. Check the Democrats offered 25B in just a year ago.

The Dems are opposed because they know that walls work.

Any legislator who does not vote for the wall and an illegal commits a crime against our citizenry. . . he or she should be considered an accessory to that crime. . . even murder. Think about it. They are in congress to legislate for the safety and well being of the CITIZENS of the United States of America.

Something like 15 billion A DAY the govt spends(wastes) and they can’t find money for the ONE JOB they should be doing—border security otherwise known as national security.

I don’t think President Trump is looking for a McCain-lite war monger.

I agree and they’re compelled by the Constitution to protect the states from invasion. They’re violating their oaths. Shocker, I know. They’re domestic enemies of the Constitution.

I am a HUGE Trump supporter BUT he should have had this fight last March instead of saying like all Repubs say "We will have this debate when the next funding CR comes up!"
I don't think Trump acts much a White Flag Repub, but last March he capitulated so he could get money for the Military - should have stood firm on BOTH the Military funding AND the wall.

The Dems are motivated primarily by hate. Not much else matters. Clearly not facts.

I dont think President Trump is looking for a McCain-lite war monger. He's looking for someone who will keep his mouth shut and do whatever the President want him to. Graham would gladly do that to be Secretary of Defense.
To: E. Pluribus Unum
Trump sould demand the whole 25B and he should announce a laundry list of their programs he will veto until it’s done.
