“You were an unregistered agent of a foreign country while serving as the National Security Adviser to the President! “Arguably, this undermines everything this flag over here stands for! Arguably, you sold your country out!”

I've been saying the same thing for years. I'm the last one in my family, and at 71, have already outlived 3 of my family members. Got to make it to 73, and then 75 to beat the other two.

Probably. But Sullivan wants everything on the record. That’s why he retracted and apologized, he didn’t want the record to stand with him calling Flynn a traitor when all he was really trying to do was to scare him into withdrawing his plea.
With an attitude like yours, we should all just lay down and die with no resistance.
This is the single biggest item to take from the events related to Flynn since early 2017.
If I was Donald Trump I'd make every attempt never to mention Flynn by name again. I'd have every reason to feel betrayed by the guy if I learned he was working as a lobbyist for foreign governments while he was a senior national security advisor in my campaign.
Imagine that. A judge wants to figure out what is going on before he sentences someone.

The judge recanted, took back the treason talk and said “I feel terrible about that”.
He also said Flynn is innocent!

FOX behind the curve as usual. Sullivan apologized for the treason talk and said:
“I have never taken a guilty plea from someone who is not guilty, and I don’t intend to start now.”
1. Judge Sullivan is a moron who never should have graduated from law school. I'm not even a lawyer and I know that treason would not be an applicable charge even if Flynn sold out the U.S. on behalf of Turkey.
2. Judge Sullivan is working to string this process along until Flynn's legal team is confident enough to not only withdraw Flynn's guilty plea, but mount a legal challenge that would end up getting Mueller's team sanctioned for prosecutorial misconduct.

So it looks like Flynn is going to keep on cooperating with Mueller until the next hearing in March.

I liked that part where the judge said:

Sullivan couldn’t get Flynn to withdraw his plea even by hinting he would go to prison for treason but he finally got him to postpone on the hopes Flynn and his attys will finally withdraw the plea. Sullivan will dismiss the case once he does it.
I do not understand his alleged crime. As national security advisor to then President elect Trump, Flynn met with the Russian ambassador...wouldn’t that be part of his job? It was after the election so what colusion was there? As for lying to the FBI wasn’t that based on an interview with fired and discredited agent Strok and the actual notes from that interview strangely lost? Didn’t Hillary also lie to the FBI about her illegal server and violate the Espionage Act and she hasn’t been indicted for anything. We are living in a police state where the government can selectively prosecute anybody.
Podesta did work for Manafort. Manafort gets charged with being an unregistered foreign agent. Podesta, who is also unregistered, doesn't get charged. Podesta and another person have been referred to the SDNY, but we're talking NY, and I doubt anything will happen to them.
That may not be a very serious crime in the larger scheme of things, but for him to do this while serving as a senior national security advisor in Trump's campaign is ridiculously stupid.
Democrats can get away with those optics because they don't give a sh!t about America anyway. For someone to do this while serving as an advisor to a "Make America Great Again" presidential campaign is unfathomable.
After what I've seen in recent weeks, the kindest thing I can say about Flynn is that he comes across as a moron.
